All I need is 20 pips a day. The thing I love is that it is an education every day.

Is there anything else needed on a chart besides ichi? I mean we have s&r from the cloud-it seems that it could be a stand alone indicator. Is this right?

i dont think Ichi needs anything with it, also every single line in this wonderful Indicator can stand alone and can make it's own strategy and you can work with it, but i pref to use the whole system as it was designed cause it ensures you that your entry is in the correct place . and they are all based on MAs and this is a very strong one from the designer , i have tried several indicators and nothing is compared with the MAs they are the key player in this market

you said before you used to use this system and the lines as support and resistance . witch are the line that hold the most as support and resistance from Ur experience

If you look at the 4 h chart NZDUSD with ichimoku u will see that we are 50 pip away from breaking the cloud on the down side . at the break i will enter it short too if the price curve confirm the breakout .

all the MAs can be used as R/S levels starting from Senken till the Span , but on the daily chart you can get your S/R levels from the span as long as the price is out of senken kijun or kumo range , the pic below shows the the R/S levels EJ is facing on the daily chart i removed all the other lines and left the span standing alone , but i dont think that the game of S/R is a good one , cause i it is always a matter of luck and the market can break them if it wants , so i go with the strong complete signal better than my own luck hehe

check the pic and if it is not clear i can explain more

It seems we had another Short trade signal on EJ three bars ago on M5 though the cross was just inside the cloud, not below (I think this is acceptable for a complete strong signal, agree Moody?)

Also the senken ten can be the S/R levels
you might notice in the pic that once it the price managed to close above the senken line it was supporting it all the upmove , and once it closed below it pressure started for a down move, you can test each line standing alone and you gonna like what you will see

am in this deal for a while now since the first crossing , but am afraid from the kijun line line the daily chart it might give a support for the price

The kijun line on my daily chart is at 135.21 so I don't understand how it may give a support when price is at 133.50, can you please explain?

the senken line is at 135 , check ur chart again , compare it with this pic

if still not clear please advise

Thanks vic , i am really enjoying trading this way . i closed my second winner for the day on gj this time . i cheated just a bit on the entry . cause the crossing was at the end of the cloud so i consider it outside . huh but its nice 40 pip .

Still not clear, I have checked several other servers with different data and all show that senken is around 136.10 and kijun is around 135.20. Attaching my chart.

Can others post their senken and kijun line values on daily EJ here please?

After posting my chart, I looked at again your daily chart and realised that you don't have Sunday bars. Then, I tried Alpari RU which does not have Sunday bars and it shows Kijun line at 133.35 whereas Senken has the same value with the MT4 servers with Sunday bars. So Sunday bars make this difference, it seems.

yes you are correct i don't have the Sunday bar , but so far it caused no problems with me , i hope it will continue like this
