The Eur Has Find It Difficult To Break 1.5833 Res. Could This Be The Reversal From Long To Short Position? Somebody Tell Me.

My 2 pips...

Looks like a rising triangle consolidation has started. Probably see price drop some, bounce off the 21 MA again, rise, hit resistance and repeat for the next month or so until price can catch it's breath... then we'll break out. Up or down... dunno yet, but I'll guess up just for the fun of it (wouldn't put money on that tho).

I've got one small long I've left open. Was planning to scale further in after a topside breakout, it might stop out now... no biggie.

Pass? Fail?

Laff. I closed that position a long time ago. It did break out, to the upside, then quickly whipped back down. I covered at BE when it whipped back, I have no patience for losses on breakout trades... either the market keeps going or it reverses completely, not much middle ground and no sense in playing the hope game there.

I’m betting on the EURUSD, I hope I won’t get disappointed… I’m now down 67 pips, I’ll give it a moment though.

Despite all the news talk about the USD recovery, we can’t expect too much. It seems there is some kind of rebound since yesterday against the big trend. I hope you earn some money with your transaction.

Well, at that time I actually didn’t, I’m seeing some improvement already though I’m not really sure whether USD is reliable right now, we’ll have to wait and see what Obama’s effect brings.

In 6 of the last 7 elections the dollar gained over the euro and yen, we can expect this in the next 6 months, but if you asked me for the next week I couldn’t tell what will happen, maybe the same. During the last 8 hours the euro went down from 1.3087 to 1.2873. time to sell?

Maybe. Reading some threads I can say depending the way you see it. If you use for example fundamental analysis you can sell (don’t take my advice seriously) because it’s expected the US economy falls in the next months due to the financial crisis (and also what you said), but using the technical pay more attention to the EURUSD graphic and use the indicators, sometimes you sell others buy.

What should one be looking out 4 now? Has the Euro really gained back itself fundamentally? It fell for the past 3 months only to recover from a 2 month fall within a month. That's quite sharp. Is this just some retracement to the upside? Is it still going to fall?

Please advise

Sell 1 at 1.3023 TP 10 pips
Sell 2 at 1.3033 TP 20 pips
Sell 3 at 1.3053 TP 20 pips

The euro continued its upward move against the usd and extended its highest level in more than a month to 1.3516.
It has been trending higher for about two weeks…

Hi All,

I'm new and have been playing at trader for a few months now.

I have an order to open at 14289.0 to sell as it seems there is strong resistance points there and the Fib 61.8 works out perfectly.

What do you think of the chart?
