Its interesting o see as GDP good for USD, but on charts its showing something different ha ha Like it DOESNT strenght USD.

Mal - is that what the Trap is ?

tom now quiet sure what is going on with GBP .. am annoyed was long EU closed for 25 pip ..lol ...

my goal these days is a nice steady 30 pip a day , day over day, I have been finding spending to much time in the markets makes my mind less sharp.

i was trading with a game yesterday on skype we snagged 60 pi on under an hour.

30 pip a day , 2.5% risk (50 pip stop )...typically close if not in profit 2 x 5 min bars, 2 k to 2.5 mill 30 months. I am on month 18

That interesting - closing trade if not in profit in 2 x 5 min candles (including entry ( 1st 5 min bar )? )

Are You using tp 30 for the day and SL 50 pips for the day ?

tom yes ... in VSA if you are right you get profit almost right away. . For example if you have stopping volume and then go long above high of 3 min cdnel but price just hangs there then more often than not the stopping volume is not ready to push market up .

stops of 50 pips are more to protect against tankage or ripping up than for me to wait to get stopped out.

I would rather take little hit 20 pips and wait for next trade than wait for stop to be hit. 20 pip very easy to recover from

here are kinds of trades I have been looking for .. not knock them out the park but nice steady pips

in order to make 10 % on account with 2.5 risk I need only 200 pips per week. In fact I really want 30 pip per day , VERY easy if patient. Rome weas not built in a day

BY year three you are a very proficient trader , with 2.5 mill in bank ....trading 50 lots per day with 30 pip = 15 k per day

now who does not like that !!

the other beauty is typically , if you trade at right times .. you can do 30 pip in less then 1,5 hours . Imaginme 15 k in 1.5 hours pper day .... where else other than trading can you do that ( well that is legal anyway)

Does anyone have the better volume indicator with a sound alert on the different colored bars???

Copi I saw you were looking for one a while back. Did you find it?

Im still in shock. My main objective now is to become proficient in vsa. I deleted all the other indi's off my chart. I have banned myself from using any other tools accept trendlines and s/r until i get this. Got volume?

if you can put two bucks / copis market profileo n charts .. it will give you nice lines to work around

I can appreciate what you are saying. I've only been trading 9 months or so and I probably need to get proficient in the 2 methods I'm using now, before adding a 3rd. I may have 1 too many methods for being a noob, but I'm on daily & 4 hr time frames.

Sounds like VSA is working for lots of folks, I just don't want to get in the system hopping game. It does sounds like from what are you saying that VSA is used as a confirmation method on top of what you already use. With the James16 method it is a lot of price rejection reversal type trading and maybe VSA can help provide a stronger signal on which reversals are strong and which are weak?

I'm still trying to find out what type of trader I am and what will suit me the best.

trust me .... I have been trading VSA 18 months .... wow what a differecne . Before VSA I struggled for 5 years to break even each year. ALL other systems are lagging . With vsa you can can get pin point accuracy on entries. since finding vsa 2 k to 6 figures.....

That is pretty impressive, sounds like you found a method that fits you perfect. What type of methods where you trading the last 5 years, if you don't mind saying?

fits everything ....

vsa is unreal .... stocks , futures , fx etc . EVERYTHING else out there is lagging

I use 2 things .... vsa and volume histogram . Learning to read volume related to price is like reading a book .....

the beauty of vsa is you know almost instantly if trade is going to work or not

here was an easy 40 pip trade last night in asai on treble bottom ... very simple .. took time to form so one had time to study price action , could have gone 10% risk on this one .. almost to easy lol
