The difference is 83 pips.

How could you have collected 205 pips?

Yes, I know how to make the chart bigger by clicking on it, I just don't know how to make my eyesight better by wishing it . (And I can't push the laptop further away from me!)

I have been forced to using inexpensive magnifying glasses; 1.00x for me (no where to go but up with the magnification.......)

MAX trading is WORK!!!! Those pips don't fall in my lap. Time, patience, discipline, determination; without these the MAX will NOT work for you.

If it was easy, everybody would be rich.................

dont tell me your surfboard has an in-built touchscreen monitor.

Something about that type of surgery not being approved by the FAA or something. I've heard they're looking to change it though.

The MAX 10 course is underway with over 40 new students and about 20 who have returned for a "refresher".

I have received several PMs about the September course; the schedule will be posted soon and there is plenty of time to register.

The course includes 8+ hours of training in 7 sessions as well as homework for each training session. There is support through a Google Group and the MAX System Forum. MAX System indicators and templates for MT4 are provided as well as videos of each training session for ongoing review by the students.

The amount of training and support provided makes the cost of the course very reasonable. Other courses like this (or less!), cost in the thousands of dollars, not the hundreds!

MAX System training will change the way you view Forex trading forever!

I received a PM asking me why I preferred the MAX Trading System to other methods of trading the Forex market. Good question because I have openly written about my experiences using a variety of technically based trading strategies that produced winning results. The best of the bunch for me was the Fozzy method; and currently there is a FF member who is posting his successes with the 4 hour Fozzy. I'm of the opinion that the original "Fozzy" is still quietly trading this method somewhere in Australia. "Good on ya mate!"

But I wanted a system that would allow me to be more active as a day-trader. Cobra and his team's THV system is good for those who are comfortable scalping the M1 and M5 charts for gains of 10 to 30 pips a trade. That method does not really fit my trading personality and style (although using THV on the H1 was productive).

When I took the MAX course in November 2008 with the late Dr. Jim Pruitt, I believed I found what I was lookig for. Several months of practice, trading and more learning convinced me I found the best trading system for me; not necessarily for everyone, but certainly for me.

I like to MAX trade the M15, and trades that produce 300+ pips are a common daily occurance. Some very experienced and agreesive MAX traders work the M5 and have trades that produce 1200+ pips. To "each his own".

When Jim passed away in May, myself and Eusebio Nanni of France were given the opportunity to teach the MAX System because we were accomplished MAX traders and good teachers. The response to the new MAX course has been overwhelming! The September course schedule has been posted and enrollment has begun. And the future will see the MAX System being taught to beginning traders as well as seasoned veterans as we expand our instructional program.

That's my "MAX story".

I've had many PMs this week asking me about the MAX System and the classes that start in September: so I've bundled the questions and will answer in a straight forward and direct manner.

Any trader who takes the course, applies them-self and works at it will make money. How much is up to you: account size, risk tolerance, hours spent trading, patience in the market, disciplined trading habits, money management........these are all determining factors. It's up to you.

This is a job; it's work! It's NOT a hobby, unless you want it to be and don't really care about earning money. That's true in almost every profession and/or endeavor. You take out according to what you put in. Simple really!

People have questioned some of the numbers I have posted. They're real! If a trader takes The MAX course, does the homework, applies what they learn, interacts with the MAX Community through the MAX Forum and takes a disciplined approach to trading, they will be successful and profitable! Same principle from the previous paragraph applies.

Each course has seven lessons consisting of about ten hours of live instruction in a webinar format. All sessions are recorded; miss a live lesson, watch the video and catch up (the videos are yours forever!). Do the homework, submit for grading in a Goggle Group Community and see what everyone in the class is doing because all homework is posted. Learn from your (and others) mistakes. Ask questions; receive an answer for all to see and read in the Community.

You will not be babied; you will be instructed!

Follow the MAX rules and succeed. Break the rules, try to modify the system because you think you know more than we do, be impatient, be undisciplined, be reckless with your trading.........and fail. See the above again.

Just recently we have decided to increase the cost of the course. And we have added an Advanced MAX Trading System course for MAX Graduates as well as a "Live" Application Room and a "free" Forum for MAX grads.

I thought a little about what you said to me in an email, about Jim treating his training as a hobby and that is why he didn't charge much. Well, after doing a bit of research it appears you are a little wrong.

His philosophy was giving training to potential traders that could not afford to spend thousands on a course. You say you now charge ten times as much as Jim did because there are a few of you teaching the course. But Jim did have his helpers as you well know.

The bottom line is, that there is always money to be made from someone's death, the vultures always get in first. And when this goes against the very originators philosophy of offering affordable education, then it really is quite disrespectful too.

What was that about you being a 'class act' ?

Hello Porkpie,

It certainly is your right to disagree with the way that The MAX Trading System is currently being marketed and taught; but I think it is inappropriate for you to think or say that any of us who are currently involved with MAX Training are acting like "vultures", using the death of Jim Pruitt to exploit others. Those who received The MAX as Jim's legacy would, I believe, be insulted by that accusation.

And you only have some of the facts. Yes, Jim did have his "helpers", who for the most part were either not paid for their efforts or received very little by way of compensation. These people worked with Jim because they had long standing personal relationships with him and supported his efforts to help people learn to Forex trade successfully and profitably.

As explained to you in my PM (PM by the way, means Private Message), the only way The MAX could continue to be taught was to involve people in a more business-like fashion. This means the price would need to increase, which it has (although not ten times!). Additionally, we are doing things with the course that Jim did not do, including a Private Forum for MAX graduates. All of these new things require time and money to support, but they have put in place to help and support people who want to be MAX traders for life.

None of us who are currently involved in MAX training (there are four) receive substantial compensation for our work. Personally I have had to take time away from my personal trading schedule to be involved; but my involvement is motivated in part because I know Jim wanted as many people as possible to learn The MAX. And I believe it's the best Forex trading system/method a trader can use.

I am not, nor will I ever become wealthy as a MAX Instructor.

If all of this mean I am disrespectful to Jim in your opinion and in the opinion of others, then so be it. As I said before, The MAX would not have continued after his death had there not been people willing to step up and carry on his legacy in what we believe is the only reasonable way possible.
