Agzactly and the beatles deal just came out recently. Ive heard rumors of a different wow coming out as well.

I see that but hey its play money so Im still looking for what works on stocks. Also I just got these loaded on friday so that pin at 11 was a few days before my eyes were open.

CW: I'd be interested to hear/see your thoughts regarding the EURAUD and the USDCHF, both of which I have at weekly areas (this may be wrong however).

I agree with both charts. However, the USDCHF seems a bit more interesting....based on bar shapes. Both would be on my watch list though....if I got a good bar - I would be involved.

This is exactly how I play my box /channel trades. The trend is up, so the high probability trade is to buy at the bottom of the channel. Like Chris and someone said, if you get in, I would watch the 11-12 supply/resistance zone.

I simply have to step in here and warn most of you about selling options naked (without owning the underlying stock).

I'm sure CW71 knows what he does, he's in the game long enough. But I guess most of you, especially those just starting to trade stocks not really do. Please understand that your risk is unlimited when you sell an options. It's true that 80% of options expire worthless but that doesn't tell us about how much we might lose with those that don't expire worthless. I know a ton of people who completly busted their account selling options, and a lot of them did very well for years. But then one day they sold some stock-options and overnight the stock gapped up 30$ and they were busted. Gone.

If you want to sell options do it in futures, there you usually can cover your ass by buying the underlying future at the strike price you sold the option. But I wouldn't even think about doing it in stocks. And I'd love to read from CW71 that he at least admits that this is not the right way to get started trading stocks and most people shouldn't even think about trading this way.

Something I may wait on also and play a break of the upward trend line... large potential risk reward

ideally id take the break of the last inside bar, though I'm still searching for other trades, so I may not take it just yet, but its something that I'm looking at, I'll update when and if I take it.

Yes, sorry....probably should have had the disclaimer here. He is right, it's not the best way to start. You really don't want to do it on illiquid stocks. You must use stocks that are heavily traded.

Not worried about that particular trade but trying to get familiar with IB. While I have no doubts about PB, I am still fighting with IB and the right way to play them.

I just started working with freestockcharts.com (still can't get prorealtime to work) and there is a lot of things to look at.......

PS: my browser can't any image hosting servers right now, anybody know what's up?

Well Steve Wynn had an interview today where he was getting hammered by some reporter about why you would start a casino during a recession however I know about the time lines it takes to get projects of that size going but Im willing to bet that most do not. Needless to say point of the story is for a guy in his position he didnt handle it very well and I thought that his stock may go down so I sold it DEMO at the close which you can see a doji way up by the 50 mark where the stock had some issues getting passed not to long ago how does this look CW

Truthfully, news not withstanding....I like the bar, if it breaks lower I would be short. But what I also would point out is that this is a classic parabolic move. It could very well be getting exhausted. Is it a trend reversal? I doubt it, but it certainly is ripe for a nice pullback...

Hi Kodflakes,

I agree with Chris on this one. I break of the bar should lead to a slight fall in prices but i would be very surprised if we don't re-test the recent swing high soon ($50).
