That is not "safe" but it gets me out quick.

To wait for a pullback and get "in" on a confirmed move is wiser-but you may have to spend more time in front of the screen. Lately we have had no clear direction, just 30 pip or so bursts then retracement.

I've had mixed results lately.

Try putting "range trading" in your search engine. Hope that helps.

By the way, I stayed out today. The news had me unsure. It looks like the yen could have made some quick pips but the pa on the others was sorry. lol

i backtested for a year and this system is really profitable. actually if you use this with trailing stop it could be more profitable.

bye the way i use 0600-0900 gmt and order two side of bands.

on fridays trade i see a max of 19 pips gain please correct me so i can also verfiy the time traded

Can some on make an EA to martingale -- 1 2 4(lots) 30 pips above or below london open price
example-- it price open at london time 700gmt at 16400--then it will set 2 orders buy and sell 30 pips - tp 30 sl 30 if sell get fill and stop out then it will double on the buy side
I do this manualy for 00gmt open price(base on the fact the gbpusd move 120-200 pips daily) so I am sure to take 30 pips of that daily move
the most level you will have to double is 3 (1 2 4) lots you will not continue to trade if all 3 levels stop out--there will be more wining days then losing -- so the expert codes can you make this ea

Ea should have start time and end time
tp and sl
matingale (double) level l (1 lot) level 2 (2 lots) level 3 (4 lots)

this ea will cover oo gmt open london open and 7-9 NY

I did a back test with out any doubling the lots at london open 30 sl to 60

Has anyone experienced a successful breakout 5 days in a row, or experienced 5 consecutive days of failed breakouts?

I trade J16 stuff mostly...and another trend method, which is not working as well as it used to recently on these summer markets... and silent service thread is great too

Which broker do you use for your charts? I think that will help with my confusion of you box times.

Hi fib, I use fxpro for this broker candles sticks should I be watching or using for this NY breakout strategy they seem to be GMT +3 right but please check for me and confirm thanks.
Also If I am to do a manual backtest how do go about viewing more hourly candles sticks in my mt4 at least up to four months back or more thanks alot
