DislikedJust scan this thread for new messages from Justin - He ALWAYS announces when the sign-up period for MT4 is open for new traders.Ignored
DislikedFulltime thanks for answering.
but look, why cant we open an account when we want? why they have a special dates for that? can you explain it to me?
Thanks again.Ignored
DislikedHaven't you read this thread at all? The live accounts are in beta for the time being, so they only open up enrollments after resolving whatever issues have come up following the previous enrollments.Ignored
DislikedI did, a little bit...the thing is, i'm learning english and i guess it's not good yet so i got confused ......what is beta?
I know that a brainwaves have 3 levels - Alpha, Theta and Delta.
but by looking at your post, i think Beta is some kind of testing mode.

Dislikedjustin a while ago I posted a post on how the market can gap through stop-limit orders basically rendering the limit order moot.
well it was conformed today
I talked with the trade desk and what happened was the stop and limit order were at the same price(I usually try to keep the close to take advandage of spread) and the stop was triggered at the market below the limit and the limit wasn't triggered, thus rendering it moot....
so yes gaps can effect limit ordersIgnored

QuoteDislikedYes, the market can gap past your stop limit order. That's the point of the stop limit order, you will not be filled if you can't be within the price you specify. The caveat being that you may not get filled at all.
Dislikedyes it can gap to any price(and it also happens when the stop limit is at different prices) the limit doesn'e necessarily get triggeredIgnored
DislikedI am a happy customer with MBT (started with EFX)...but i am planning to close the account eventually as i do not wish to hold USD$...again i hope MBT can consider having multi currencies accounts.
cheersIgnored
DislikedHi Justin,
I opened a demo account 3 weeks ago and it worked fine for one week. Then, the last 2 weeks it can't connect to the order server. I have an approved live account too, but I wanted to get familiar with the platform before.
I've contacted tech support a couple of times but they don't seem to know what's happening
Thanks

Dislikedwell indy as of "getting it" as this has been the trading order entry/exit for the last year and change, as stated bfore even if not at the same price sometimes the limit will not get triggered as also confirmed by the desk at mbt....
recently this has been occuring and yes it can be due to the speed of the market...
we've used this method for quite some time....
thank youIgnored
