What pairs do you like to trade Nisha?

i usually trade eu, gu, au, nu, gy and eg. but this strategy works good on all pairs.

RSI is still usefull. Just check at attached screenshot - all good moves were corelated and matched with RSI (14), two long postions - two TRIX signals, all with RSI above 50.

Here is a long EU trade that I took in a ranging market. I actually broke one of my rules and didn't wait for the break of the last swing high in a ranging market. I also didn't recognize that the market started to consolidate and range. The good thing is that I entered with the longer term trend which was up. You can see the swing high and swing low, if you would have waited until the swing high was crossed you would have gotten your 10 pips. This worked out well for me as it turned into a breakout trade but it's not a entry that I would typically take. Also note I placed the 200EMA (white dashed line) on my chart after the trade and it was flat...this would have been another sign to stay out until the trend returns. Thanks for the suggestion Nisha.

Hi Dave

if you notice the 200ema provided good resistance initially and once price closed above it, it was a safe trade with trix confirming the uptrend, so getting 10 pips was easy, more is bonus.

add pivots and u will have more insight, a close above daily Pivot, is considered bullish .

Attached is a chart which shows divergence in Price and TRIX, this can be utilised if watched carefully for making tons of pips

just another way of looking at making pips, as traders we got to be aware of such basic knowledge if we want to surive in this jungle, where we are the small prey.

I have a Stoch candle indi, there is a RSI candle indi... is it possible to make a kind of HA candle indi, changing the color of the candle up for trix above 0 and down for trix below?

That would be a dream and clean up my charts...

trading only with the 15 min trend and no trades inside the high and low moving avg.

usually getting the trix arrow first then waiting for a break of the hi or lo ma line to push the detonator

I believe the original creator was Robert Hill but do not quote me on that. Attached is the source code for the Color Ventana. You can change the code to have it in it's own window if you like. This one is on the chart. Hope this helps.

Just to follow up on nisha's divergence trade..here is a short EU divergence trade for +10 pips.

NOTE: I can't show trades placed because I use MB Trading Navigator for placing the trades on a live account.

Short Conditions: Bearish Divergence on TRIX, PA below 12WLMA, Trend Magic short.
