I closed profit cadlfx yesterday and reentered cad/lfx long with 2 positions.

Plan was to close one postion at the daily cloud, because I expected some kind of reaction and 1 or 2 day pull back. I closed second position because of greed . But there is nor reaction of the cloud, price has rentered the cloud. But there is much resistance above, so maybe its good to close both positions.

Weekly cloud ahead, weekly kijun sen ahead.

In a falling market we see for GU a rising volume.

So, this is telling us, there is interest,. that GU is not allowed to fall more (at this point in time).

So we see of course GU bounce above the cloud. To be more precisly: look left in the charts, where the chinkoun span make 2 angels, this have been...
And of course we have seen a bullish breakout. Price is ranging inside the 4 h cloud.

Last 3 bearish candels we see is reaction of the daily kijun sen resistance.

And we see a daily bearish cross of course, but in ranging periods this does not matter.

Iám unsure about next move. On gbp/lfx we see a bearish cross plus tenkan sen resistance, and on usd/lfx we see kijun sen support.

I think, we are at a key point where is decision for more bulls on GU, or watch higher timeframes. Last weeks candle was bearish.

Do you know the reason about Euro weak? this pair EurAud it was looking pretty bullish and look at that pullback, insane mmm!

Watch eur/lfx daily.

The eur is not the driving force in any currency related pair. It is ranging since middle april.

So the counterpart is driving this one, and today we have seen for aud/lfx a bull move.

Next is question and keypoint, if cloud resitance for aud/lfx will hold, or price breaks up. In this case whole picture will change.

See this is the 8 th week where access is deneyed to get back in to cloud.

I repeat: kumo cloud break is a vaild trading startegy: Enter short usd/lfx if cloud is broken. So some traders may already have entered short and now defend reenter into cloud.

BUT: We should know disadvantage, so called "head fake". This appears, if price breaks through a cloud but did not manage to stay above/below the cloud. This is big problem for kumo breakout traders, because they place there SL opposite of the cloud.

We have seen head fakes on eur/cad these days.

how long have u been using Ichimoku & TD?
what are the (personal) reasons u use both at the same time?
do u use other systems or methods with these 2?
is this a unique thread within FF (no other TD & ichimoku combo threads around)? i asked because it seems so.

....if u can indulge my inquisitiveness. Thanks & keep it up!

Hi supreme chaos,

you are very welcome.

To be honest I use TD very rare, because I have not found a working indicator for MT4. User Satny gave me one at last monday, which he says, its a working one, so I haven´t enough time to see, if it works (on daily time frame).

TD sequence and countdown is a tough nut to crack, because valid sequences might be recycled (aborted), and the counddown may be different, depending which broker you use (they have different daily close, which is very importent for TD).

There are not that much threads about TD and less with ichimoku, and there is none which put both systems together here at FF, as far as I know.

The reason to try both systems to work together, is the golden rule in
ichimoku not to go short if price is above the cloud. But I like to know, where is the turning point, where traders sentiment is changing. Only system I know so far is TD for price exhaustion points. Or pure candlestick knowledge.

By the way I`am reading J16 thread now and then, this stuff is marvelous !

I think most importend is to know these support and resistance areas,J16 do it often with fibo confluence, I use ichimoku.

Of course I use fibonacci-tool, too, very good is 127.2 extension level for
price targets, plus sometimes RSI to see if the whole picture match together.

PS: Give the lfx-index (cad/lfx, eur/lfx, aud/lfx, nzd/lfx etc) at liteforex.org a chance, in worst case you have more pairs to watch.

also interisting is eur/cad:

daily candle is very interisting, because I thought, this would test the lower part of the cloud, before getting up.

Ok Peter! I'm agressive hussin samurai, but, I don't want fight this monthly candle, pretty bearish, let's wait for daily candle close then.

yes, wait for daily close is best. the aud is so super bullish, driving eur/aud down.

But see if we get pattern on eur/lfx three outside up plus a hanging man at aud/lfx. This isa chances for a turning point.
