It isn't, because the UltraSuper TRIX (3, E,E,E, C) make the same + other things, and TG hase explain this.

Yeh, alot of your signals look incorrect against the standard set-up, which is why you are not getting the returns you expect.

I don't use Renko just now so you should check your Renko set-up / operation with Edge to iron out your problems.

I put the MagicTrend indicator (settings 12,3,6) to my chart that already had LWMA12 on it. For some time I thought, which of them should I delete. And then suddenly I found out that the cross of MT and LWMA is also a very nice signal

my 2 trades of the day so far, 10 pips on the gbpusd and 10 pips on the eurusd. Yes they went for more but happy to take my 10 pips. I also use the "market long by steve" script to open the trades.

The 2 boxes on my charts are the Asian session and the second one is the start of "Edges" trading time.

20 pips 2 trades, i am happy with that.

My opinion: 2EMA cross (3 and 5) is also a good primer.

Great start to the day! 10 on the eu and 10 on the ey which is amazing since my spread was like 7.5 on the ey! I am considering using my metatrader for setups but putting my actual trades in on my oanda demo account. Their spreads are much better.

Hi gutek04,
Now I understand why you made the claim about the EMA cross.
It is because you are basing the EMAs on the Renko bars. This, of course tends to smooth the signal (in addition to soemtimes being faster - than large time-based bars).

It is because of this extra smoothing for using the Renko bars that the Trix signals are comparatively later (because Trix intorduces more smoothing that the Renko bars don't require).

Thus for those of us using normal time bars ( or HA bars) I think it is still best to use WMA, TM and Trix.

P.S. The effect of Renko bars on the indicators only applies to those using the Renko bars from mqlservices. Any others are not likely to have any effect on MAs or other indicators.

Do you think you could make a MTF Super Trix? Maybe in the form of a bar chart like the MTF Megatrend?

Not really compatible, since renko bars are based on pip range, not time.

The chart I posted is based on 3 pip range.
