I'm posting the trades I see between 11 and 16 GMT.
I don't see anything wrong with your trades. When you have a large candle, one way is to take a high/low divide by two approach and let it pull back to that level. Check the size of the candle vs. the ATR and adjust if the candle is larger than the ATR. If your trading tight TP, you gotta watch the pullbacks.

Another way, add a 7 lw MA just like the 14, if you have a large candle, wait for it to pullback to the 7 or even the 14, if it doesn't, just wait for the next setup

Here's yesterday's setups. Again I'm seing it's 3 bad vs. 2 good. Even with a 20SL or the 7/14 I would have lost them.
Anyone had good setups yesterday with Edge's system?
I love the concept, I just seem to be missing something.

Edge - I think Notch, and yourself, got it wrong. A 'Guru' in my part of the world is a description of an all knowing elder who dispenses his knowledge and experience to those less experienced or knowledgable but definitely a complimentary term not a derogoratory one. If your took it as insulting, believe me it was certainly not intended and I apolgise for choice of words. I would ask you to re-read my post in light of my explanation.

In your response to my questions you admitted to being less than perfect which I found reassuring, hence your fall from 'guru' status to normal.

Your words of wisdom and assistance are greatly appreciated by me and I am sure, many of those who have followed this thread from its inception and I certainly would not bite the hand that feeds me!!

I am going to speak for Notch here as well, and at my own peril.

I certainly appreciate your reference as a 'guru' and to be quite honest was both humbled and embarrassed by such a compliment.

I simply tried to deflect such an accolade by weakly attempting to inject levity into such. For this I apologize.

Notch and I are pretty much in the same boat here as we each make an attempt at surviving by trading the markets as a business. In this regard, we both apparently have attained some measure of success.

While I (we) certainly are striving to make appropriate information available to all, there was, nor will there ever be, an attempt to directly besmirch an individual who finds such value in what is being set forth here.

Again, there was absolutely no intent to dishonor your kind compliment and I again apologize if my aloof attitude towards such caused you to alter your personal perceptions, or perhaps those of others. There was definitely no malice intended, and instead was just an off the cuff effort at levity to deflect such.

In short, MY BAD ALL THE WAY.

thank you edge, i like the faster stoch added, something i have traded in the past and am comfertable with. i like to scalp the 2nd, 3rd and so on bounces after a direction has been shown. the faster stoch allows me to re-enter a move mult times and scalp my pips. I run a 15 pip tp script that will set my starting stop lose and then pull stop to break even, then close my trade when 15 pips is hit. over and over and over...rinse and repeat

Here's an indicator since no one has posted one lately...
Will give you about same entry/exit signal as the trix 0 cross over point....
Has a sound alarm to so useful when monitoring multi-pairs.

I had the same problems as reported in a previous post concerning the installation of the smTrix you posted. I reloaded, etc, but I could not get it to show anything at all with 3,1 setting. By changing to 3,0 it prints. Comparing it to the 'Trix-with-alert' I have been using, the latter crosses the 0 line a bit sooner than the smTrix. Could this be due to the change from 1 to 0 in the settings. (I am an absolute Klutz when it comes to the structure of indis so I do not know what the 1 or 0 in the settings might change).

the 1 and 0 settings are for how it displays nothing else, it's not like say a stoch 5/3/3 or macd and that indicator is set up only to display the histogram, the other version has i think 4 different displays it can show, histogram being 1 of them.

Does the arrow get placed at the bar previous to the signal? Looks good on a chart in either case, but just checking. In other words, if siganl is at 12:15, does the arrow on the chart get placed at 12:10?
