Not correct. I NEVER trade signal to signal. Only at +10 or so levels.

S/R are not significant to my trading. Do not use pivots, fibs or anything of the sort. Just trade each signal as it appears, trade ONLY a previously specified time and ONLY strive to achieve +2/-4% to account daily.

Pure 5m scalping is all.

I have overlapped your gift with your current MA indi. Notice that your gift has far less "overshoot". Turns quicker. In theory, this should make your setup even better.

Put this in your pipe in the interim.

It seems that this simple setup will become a wash, rinse, repeat....skim the bounty concept soon.

Pretty good retrace on everything. Solid long trades. Very good signal initiation.

I like your charts , that you showed a few pages back but why do you take only 10 pips every time, you miss big moves.

You can do this:
1. Take a 1m chart
2. Let it run for 1 hour

This isn't repaint:below old vorticicty(it makes repaint 1 or 2 bar but in real time it gives the same signal as mine) and the histogram is the fixed one...The other with little balls is another indi i have done(it makes repaint but it anticipates change of trend a lot so in real time is very good to filter ...).Why i have to do all these things that i always do when test an indi????Let's take trendmagic yourself :i use my better indi...Bye

If I were a swing trader, that might be true. However, I have never been such.

I see you are relatively new to this thread. As you review some of the material here, you will find that the intial beginning by 'Paulus" was a swing method using predominantly the TrendMajic indi..

That is certainly a viable trading methodology and is well recognised in trading circles. I am simply very conservative in my own trading. Live and die with the less pips, larger lot size trading. I am very adverse to market exposure. "Less is more" and this has served well for a good many years.

So, that is a traders decision. Do you go for more pips and risk more exposure, or do I go for a quick hit and run. Lots of things to mull over when deciding what philosophy one will implement.

In the words of William Bonney (Billy the Kid) "I hit what I aim". (More often than not anyway).

Looks like you have a high percentage win ratio, if you don't mind me ask what size stop are you using? I looked back through your posts but didn't see that anywhere, my apologies if I missed it.

Of course I lose trades, everyone does. I post my trades pretty much daily, losers included. They are in the thread.

Ah ok, my apologies, I should have put two and two together when you have said over and over you go for 10 pips, and then mentioned that exit strategy.
