hi

I am happy to see your journal here finally
Ichimoku is very powerful tool in well skilled hands
However i prefer MAs to mark support/ressistance level.

You know me im a futurologist and top/bottom picker
I wasnt here because im not interested on slow market,
now is time for real money.

Price has entered the cloud and we will now see, if it will stop at lower part of the cloud.

Now comes the tricky bit: Big Kumo traders have placed there stop loss below the Kumo. Lets say 1 daily candle length. They started there trade in february, as price breaks upward through the cloud.

So we might see there intervention near the lower part of the cloud.

But sorry jhon, no range. I have seen this 2 times before in summer 2007 and 2008. There nearly no retrace, this is simple down for geppy.

Maybe you're more than right Peter , take a look to monthly candle, is forming a monthly bearish engulfing :s

We will find out, in case 100 % fibo level is broken, and fibo extension levvels will come in to play in a few month.

You know, crises with banks came from speculation of banks and hedge fonds with borrowed money. (credit money)

There has been in the news these days, that banks now today here in germany, have lend money from central bank. Purpose should be that banks gives credit to companys and small business people.

But they don´t do this, because they have lost so many money.

Do you know, what they do ? They borrowed money from central bank (ECB) to speculate again

I finally got interested to learn Ichimoko KH eversince lurking thru this
trading journal of yours. I knew Ichimoko KH is powerful tool, but havent got time to actually indulge into it. Your recent comments on GU daily
hook me in.Thanks for your efforts bro.

Wish to share also, that I discover that one of my indicator AO (default as
in Bill William's in Mt4 indicators) is having similar signals as that of
the Tenkan Sen(Red Line) and the Kijun Sen(Blue line) in the Ichimoko (as can be seen in the EU 15mins chart below).
Ichimoko has another advantage with the cloud factor, area of support and resistance.
This helps alot for me.
Am still learning here.

Hope you will continue this journal and make it a great place for reference, in our trading! Cheers!

Hi Satni,

nice to hear from you. Ichimoku I found nice trading system, but most powerfull on higher timeframes (daily). On low timeframes (4h) sometimes it work, sometimes not.

But how is your tom demark work, are you still working with tom demark sequence ? I have not found a working TD indicator, or most time market is wrong

6 hr TF UpDATE .....prices capped by Tenkan-Sen,at present

1) PRICES BOUNCED DOWN FROM WEEKLY CLOUD

the thick red line is area of DAILY CLOUD,will prices GET THERE and find support ??

Daily and Weekly still remains as a BUY,But prices are caught between the respective Clouds,i guess that explains the RANGING MODE maybe...

Hi Bas,

I will not fall into this trap again, I have done this before. I have seen a bullish candlestick pattern above kijun sen and thought, hey this is a signal.

I think other way around.: Of course it has to bounce from a serious support. If it would not, this support would not be serious.

So, this is the tricky bit: false or correct pattern above a support ?

Maybe a look at 4 h timeframe usd/chf gives a hint.
