No problem, I usually only trade a position live if the system's/demo position is working 1st anyway. I might make three demo trades to one live trade. Try to hand pick out only the best trades, but hard to switch platforms when one of my PC's is down. I don't really scalp very often anymore.

Ok class. Well kids it looks like we must modify our lovely system. Edgetrader is really mad and upset that his system isnt working. Sorry Edgeman. Anyway, I have a new indicator coming soon. You see its really easy and I think we all can make about 1000 pips per week no problem.

I wonder what happened to that highly profitable...

Some of you are using a MA and other indicator.
I thought it may be useful to have them both in a lower window instead of having them mixed with the PA. It displays a cleaner view and allows you to drag other indicators to the same window for quicker decisions.

Not sure here, but appears that the setting for the MA needs to be placed at 8 in order to match up well with the 12 WMA shown on the chart.

Does this seem correct?

Would like to defer any opinion for the time being.

It does repaint a bit as normal to this type indi, ad not sure if it is 5M

oriented. Very good on 1H material though.

Was already in a trade before red color was confirmed and the indi was set at 8.

However, it does seem to do well on a pair (GU) that tends to have oscillation troughs a bit deeper than that of EU.

I want to post something in this thread, especially
for those scalping but I need alerts added to this
stochastic. This is my favorite stochastic...
I want an alert option for when it crosses the 80/20 levels
OR when it crosses the 50 level.

For this method I will be suggesting the 50 level..
so definitely want to be able to get an alert
when it crosses and closes above/below the 50 level
but both levels (80/20 and 50 above/below)
optional alert would be great if you
can help?

Only on the CLOSE of the candle so the cross level
is confirmed when the alert occurs. Pop up with alarm
telling which pair the cross occurred.

And for levels I of course mean the K period

This indicator is quite interesting, but unfortunatly there might be a bug in it, there is nothing displayed for 1h TF

Could a coder look at it and try to fix it.

Works similar to the Trendmagic indi. but in separate window.

Thought I'd share two settups here highlited on the three attachments.
Fairly self-explanitory. First attachment is start of trade and the third attachment is conclusion.
I'm still testing this idea.
Please do not trade real money with this method!!!

You must change the MA type in the indicator's configuration to 3 (WMA)
I'm posting a chart with teh 12WMA (Metatrader's one) and in the separate window the WMA with MA_Type = 3

Just finished with reading entire this long long and fast growing thread (people are going just like a maniac here) which took me a week and so.
Also so disappointing that in last 10% posts where people forgot their original purpose and let themself to write some inapporpariate words to eachother.

Anyways, I'm really happy for the suggestions you just throw. That was my intention ultimately. I have your own thread also in my notes to read thoroughly after this one.

Just to mention that I haven't tried any of these methods yet and your experience will be what I'll rely on. (I've already seen your account growth in your posts, that looks so sexy though)

Very nice Cliff.

Scalping or swing trading all rolled into one.

Try that MA indi 'Quantum" tossed out and you can even eliminate a thing or two on the charts. Clarity here is everything.

I see many are still working the 1H charts also. Have to wonder why they do not use a 5M scalp or swing in order to set up financing on the 1H. It takes a very long time to watch the 1H and ascertain its usefulness as a good trading TF. It also takes a healthy account to trade it for a living.

In addition, there are several trying to code out indi's that fit their trading style. That is great as it keeps them sharp. Still, as mentioned in the previous paragraph, I think that there are quite a few indi combo's within the thread that anyone could use to trade the 5M and fund their research efforts. Still need to pay the bills and the 5M is taylor made for such.

Anyway, nice looking chart and evaluation, thanks for sharing that. It seems 'Affindiz' and a few others are also pretty targeted with their efforts on 5M also.

Slowly plowing ahead.

Markets may change but pivots and the direction shown by 200 ema never fails. This will be a indicator free method, already documented on FF.

So guys...
