Woah. My first post, and I got to say - EUR/GBP is THE best pair to trade for me atleast. Why? Well, simply because its one of the most predictable pair.

The daily variation is not more than 100 pips EVER, and even the 5min trend gives you a picture where the trend is going.

This is my first try at Forex - I invested $250 after demo trading for a week or two. It has now doubled thanks to EUR/GBP!

Trading today was really exciting - I was just 2 pips short of getting a margin call (I know, I didn't follow the normal "risk 3% rule") - but I was quite sure the currency would hit my limit mark, and boom - it did!

Zendo, I saw the arrows on your Trix indicator, is this an alert??

Hi, germanslobo. I like your indicator.

Would you be able to enhance it to allow Inputs to offer the options of : (a) No sound signal; and (b) No alert in the MT4 Alert Dialogue .... ; i.e. just an up or down arrow on the main chart area withoput a pop-up or sound alert?

Hi Bucko & Tony,
the only thing i have changed is the Signalline. I set it to zero:

trix_period 3
signal.period 0

I think its still exactly the same as Edgetraders settings. (no difference bettween Zero and 1 in this case), but with the adventage (for me) that it looks a littel better because you get a histogramstyle.

I think its exactly Edgetraders 5 min. style.
For the MA i have taken the xpMA because I like two different colours for rising and falling . Set MAtype to 3 (LWMA). The settings the same Edgetrader is using: 14 and 7.

Same EXACT setup on the 5M.

You will win far more than you lose.

Easy scalping there.

If you are going to post these monster wins then please post your monster sideways market losses. I can post 1000 charts of a monster trend and say I used a santa claus indicator that made it possible. Come on.

And what is causing the arrows on your chart? The up and

It has never once been an issue for me.. but again I only enter a trade when the FT is at +1 or higher for a long and -1 or lower for a short.. its not repainting anywhere close to those levels.

But a double setup is a good idea, not necessarily for repainting
but for trend strength and reducing falling for weak trends
but like to see what settings he is using.
