Thanks for the posts, your first three on these boards. Maybe take a moment to read the first 3660 on this thread that already disprove what you are saying. Beyond that, please contact me in email with your specific account issues (if they exist) and I will personally look into the matter and together we can post on these boards and discuss any problems.

You can try two things;

1. From the FX Board drag the symbol you would like to view over to the chart area. This should pull up data.

2. In the left hand corner of the chart there should be a place for you to type in the symbol you would like to view.

I did originally try method 2 before seeking help but had no glory there.

I just tried method #1 and still no chart data.
At the top of the chart window it says:
Chart-EUR/JPY-No Data(MBT Account bla bla bla)

Its seems nothing is being recognised.
Further direction is appreciated.

Hi Justin,

Just a quick question:
Do i have to activate my MBT Navigator software?
I only ask such a question because on MBT's website its makes a note on the login page about activating MBT Navigator software.
When i log into my account though,i don't see anything that allows me to activate the software.
Just throwing this out there.

As we have covered many times on this thread, this statement simply is not correct. It was true five years ago, but then again, most banks didn’t have electronic FX feeds between systems back then either. In the case of our ECN, we get any trade size handled by the banks in our system. Based on the amount of volume that we push to them, we negotiated to get this. Whomever is telling you that “liquidity providers” do not allow size under a full lot is misinformed. In fact, it is such a generic statement, it’s not possible that it be true. A liquidity provider to us could be another firm, another client, a bank, etc. To say that none of them will trade a mini is just false. There was a time in the past where only certain banks in our system would trade minis, but now, any of our major providers do. The idea that an electronic marketplace would somehow get stuck on one minimum size is silly. If there is volume and business, everyone wants it.

Is this live or demo?

What steps are you taking to open the Chart window? ....Navigate.....Chart?

Does the chart you see look like the attached? (Minus the data)

Hey Justin,

I applied for a MT4 Beta testing slot on the Jun 9th window. I sent the money a week later and now I learn that my account is only for navigator. I selected Meta Trader on the application. I was wondering if you could help. I also had a question as to how I get a live license for Ninja Trader to use with MB trading.

Correct.The price display selection is greyed out though(where you select say candle stick,bar etc.I think though its because there is no data).Just as a side point there isn't any NAS or DJI prices being displayed either(not sure if there is supposed to be or not).That is DJI near the 3 green connection lights.

the rule fifo is going 2 b implemented soon. i had wanted 2 open a acct with mbtrading. after your mt4 is ready n i had worked out some kinks with my system. but seems like this rule had just thrown a spanner in the works. because sometimes i open multiple positions of the same currency pair.

would mbtrading consider setting a branch overseas like fxcm?? hard 2 find a broker with a good reputation such as mb around. thanks

We are already taking steps both with MT4 and Nav to make sure we comply with the new rules. I'll have more information at a later date.

Do you know why the displayed number of liquidity providers changes so often from day to day? Some days upwards of 8-10 separate LPs are shown quoting, then at other times (like right now) only 2 are displayed. ex:

Are there more LPs active in TDFX than are being shown?

The number of LPs actively quoting on other ECNs usually remains constant (aside from Sunday openings and 5pm rollovers). Other than those times, you don't see the number of displayed LPs changing. Whereas at MBT, I'm seeing a different number of LPs quoting nearly every day lately. Why is this?

I just remembered back to sign up and i am sure i selected MT4 as the preferred platform due to the fact that when i tried out MB years ago there were not charts inside MBT Nav,so i went with the MT4 option.Had i known that MBT Nav had charts then i would not have worried about MT4.
I am not sure if this is the reason why i am not getting any chart data inside MBT Nav.
Just throwing this out there as a possible cause.
