4 Hour Strategy (MACD)

HI! anybody long?

TC pattern above zero line.

I think it is a beautiful TC pattern...reasons for trade is on the chart.

Please comments are welcome ...I am new in this system.

Suba, make your point on the emotion and look the main rule of the heart system again.
on my graphic it was TC signal 2 candles before around 14+GMT.It was nice opportunity to take long for while according 1Hour and to enter earlier.
On 4 Hours there were 2 red candles with big tails and a hammer.There were some kind of Morning star too.The next-signal green candle enguilf previous 2 too and it was nice opportunity to enter before the green one close in 1 Hour graphic where you could see 89 as support after price cross 89 and heading 21 ema.Of course according the rule it will pull back to 21 so you do not have so many space left for you,but still you could get some pips for you.
When you see on 4 Hours graphic the big trendline over the price is strong /it was tested several times before/ so you could see there that taking long is just for some pips-not so much and you have to be careful.Now as you could see this trendline is still strong and it is some kind of resistance for taking long anymore.When on 4 Hours graphic the price cross 89 and then heading to 21 then pull back to 21-there was the point to take long signal and the macd gave signal too for TC but just because that strong trendline as resistance you do not have so many space left but it was good for some pips.In that moment it was nice to enter earlier on 1 Hours where ADX gives the right signal too.
Anyway It is just my point of view.I miss that trade because I was on work but I think it was nice opporunity to ride the long for short time.
Now I am looking the triangle and may be we have to wait for some break out these hours.
I wish many many pips to all people reading this wonderfull thread.

I appreciate your comments and I carefully read your words so let´s see some points.

You said "On 4 Hours there were 2 red candles with big tails and a hammer." When I took the trade in my platform there was two candles with big tails but one green and other red and a inverted hammer...In my point of view this is not a bearish pattern, is it?

About the trend line as a resistance I really did not saw her, luck it was about 60 pip´s far from my entry point.

I do not understand your comments about 1 hrs chart, because that purple line in your 1 hrs chart is not coincident with a TC/bullish pattern on MACD ... by the way I do not know about 1Hour or "enter earlier", is there some material about this on the thread?

0.1SLOT get 20pips,then set the other 0.1slot to BE.

the last 0.1slot was stopped out,get 0pips.so i totally get 10pips.not 5pips.

It seems to me these pairs trend better than the major ones these days.

Did you entered in the beginning of the candle of TC signal ? At 16:00 GMT... I did enter there and managed my trade as you did but the second lot is still running.

hi all and ssq,

I also enter long for tc eurusd. I post my chart later because i currently working. My entry is the same as SSQ. But earlier on the opening of that candle.


Reasons on entry:

The daily chart shows alot of support on the trendline and also on the 365ma.

The 4 hourly shows the price break up through the 89ma and then comes back to 21 and closed above it. It shows morning star candle pattern.
The tail also show more buyers.

Profit:

To the upper resistance line.

Note: currently on break even. The price did not show the kind of trend momentum continuation i expect on the last 4hours as of yesterday. Did not really break through. Can closed for some profit but i did not opt for it.

i did not enter at the beginning of the candle,the first picture was the entry point,i save the picture just after i buy eurusd.

Seems like most of you guys got on the long train on the Eur and Gbp. the moving averages on the 4H are rising and a nice separation between them. When you switch to the 1H, you will also find that nice separation and parallel rising of the moving averages. These are your high probability trades and these are the ones worth waiting for. the gbp seems to have broken out of that consolidation range and might come back to retest it before heading higher.

the eur also seems to be in a nice trend upward and we might see it test the upper trend line on the Daily at around the 1.45000 price point.

As phillip and many veterans of this method have emphasized, if you wait for the nice setups like this, YOU WILL MAKE MONEY.

EU has hit and bounced off top trendline. May pull back to 8 EMA or 21 EMA. Since it is in an uptrend, we should avoid shorts since they are countertrend unless you are very good at it.

GU is also far away from the 8 EMA and could do with a correction before moving on.

Well, if you ask me I would be very, very careful with this pair at the moment. Look how many times (4 times) price bounced of price level 1.4100. Now it seams it would be fifth bounce.

Hi all

Now we have setup being formed on EUR, look at this time we have two possible situations, if this bar close red.

First one, the MACD will form a round top, so what have we do? Enter short in a against trend trade. Problem - CT trade is always a problem and the red trend line maybe a support.

Second one ignore this round top wait for a possible TC pattern in the next bar. More prudent.

So what should we do?

wow it can't stop dropping. I will say this is also a case of bearish divergence. the high is higher than previous high but yet on the macd, it is a smaller peak. Current price 1.4045 but i expect a possible retractment to8ema maybe?

How can we avoid news on higher TF system like this one?

make 50-70pips and put trade at breakeven.

I plan this trade to break through and test and then make long long.
