Waiting for price to hit either line.

Account size: $usd300

Can afford to risk: 25% of $300 = $75

Pip range: (1.4074 - 1.4043)*10000 + 5 pips (spread)= 36 pips

Can afford to play: ($75 / 36) = $2 per pip (rounded off)

Right now at 9.25 pm singapore time or 9.25 am NY time, price is hanging at 1.4055....

To everyone who practice this strategy: is today any different than other days or is it always like today? i followed the hole session and plotted my chart as instructed, price went all over the place as if the parameters recomended where bouncing bands, same in EUR/USD... i have no doubts about the time window since where i live its only 1 hr difference from NY

First page....exactly the same, why want to change???But of course you need to apply BASIC technical analysis into it. If there is a strong support/resistance line above/below the break, of course I will not trade it. I assume this basic forex knowledge everybody should know.

Which indicator do u use for draw support and resistance lines? Do u draw it on 15 min time frame or higher?

I found this system to be highly profitable (with just a little twist) since I have been testing since February... However Im still trying to deal with my problems of resisting the urge to enter the market, hesitating when the time is right, exiting the position too early, or too late...sometimes
i just miss the trade because I woke up too late.

Is someone using a robot or automated execution on trades ?
Im looking for a system that you could design how you can enter/exit exactly the way you want.. but im only finding a system that is already designed by others..

There are several robots. But the thing is, how do you trade this system?

I have been trying to code an MT4 EA for this strategy I have my own variations on it, like going 6am to 8am instead of the 7am to 9am, since I think you get more pips my way.

But i was hoping someone could help code an EA using the New York Box which I think was in this thread and make it enter trades and ext trades using the things including with the indicator.

Use the indicator provided by TS.

But one thing will make you lost, during ranging market. Normally I check H4 chart to see the overall trend. If the trend is ranging like current GU, I will stay away.

Hi Everyone, I have been observing this strategy for sometime now and i notice that I get better results using the 7-8am candles, also use it at 7-8pm. Please look back and tell me your thoughts.
