Not if both hands are holding the wrong end. Just end up with bloody mess in either hand.

A few pages back, Hakim made a great post with some good help for scalpers. I just want to reiterate a few things, including my
previous points. See if you actually look at them on your chart
and how it might have made a difference for you last week!
1. I always have the hg0001a on my chart (or macd cci its the same)
whether I am scalping or using the original technique on post 1
(basically) for more swing trading.
Now using the same principle of only entering trades when the
low timeframe just changed (to agree with higher timeframe)
I use this on scalping and swing trading.. I enter the trade
when the current time frame just changed.. it is showing
you a new trend, either mini or real trend, either way its
a fresh trend. Entering right when the HG non mtf changes
means you are entering fresh in the trend-or like many
times in the original method, after a retracement
at the re-starting of the trend. So... you are not entering
late in a trend. This will eliminate a ton of bad scalps
for people having trouble.
For me usually things have to line up within 3 bars of the
color change.
2. Add the hma set at 200, or a 200 ema at least
so you take trades with the bigger trend.
No reason to take trades against the higher trend
I can assure you many of your scalping losses
are against the bigger trend. Using the HMA 200
makes it easy to not let yourself get tempted.
3. Never enter right after a unusually large candle
If the candles are 15-25 pips
lets say and then there is a huge candle in your
direction of 50 pips do not enter. Let it pass
there will be better entry if its really a good trend.
These three things are super easy and will improve
a ton of bad trades for scalping setups, you will
only be entering the bigger trend, you will enter
near the beginning of the trend/re-start of the trend
not when its totally exhausted and finally you
will avoid the easiest whipsaws to avoid!
Lastly I also recommend having atr on your chart,
you can use the standard one in your mt4 indicators
or you can easily find one that will put the atr
in your corner of choice of the price chart so
you can keep tabs on it easily and make sure
you want to be playing then.

This will my contribution in this magnificent thread.
1- I discovered what is obviously probably known by You that sometimes is worthy to risk not waiting for fullfill all the conditions, as shown on the attachment.
After I gained 50 pips, the conditions became SUPER, but... look what happened then. It would be a loosing trade.
2- the new indi TG HV can be used to hedge and open new positions inside existing ones, cause it shows the inner trends inside the mainstream. The only question is how long does it take
3- as probably Notch or Digitalis...
