Nanningbob 4H trading system

I have decided to make just one call a day. What I think is the best looking trade. I may post others at times but I think doing groups of them was too confusing and too difficult to keep up. So my call today is the gbp/chf as a sell off of resistance line Happy trading.

ahhhhhhhhhh that didnt last long. I am also calling this primary trade EUR/CAD off of resistance and all three above the 85 line. Somehow I missed this on earlier.

ok GBP/CHF was a nice trade. Over 150 pips and if it breaks the support line maybe more. It did that last week. I closed at 110 when my TS got hit.

Eur/Cad went against me to a third level trade. Will look for a retrace today. I put my TP just above the previous resistance line. Old resistance lines become the new support line so that is where I am looking for the retracement to go to. I will then try to break even or make a small profit at that point.

Well, almost any currency pair with AUD or JPY looks good today so I chose the AUD/CHF and GBP/JPY for diversity. This is what they look like both are primary trades. The Eur/Cad trade I have I will use my 2x4x2 with if it continues going north just to show how it would work live as we go through the process. So if it breaks resistance and keeps going north I get to practice my system of minimizing a loss live .

I think now it is a nice time to go short on eurcad. Price is at weekly and monthly pivot points resistance and it is a primary signal.

Yesterday the Eur/Cad kept going up. Using my 2,4,2 plan I closed out my first entrance and added a 3rd level, so had a losing trade on it. But I am still looking at a nice retrace here somewhere soon. Hopefully today. I only like using 3 levels at a time, makes my balance and margin usage looking good. The aud/chf trade went nowhere so sitting around 0 on that one so far. The gbp/jpy had a modest 100+ I didnt post I took the gbp/nzd and that one went over 200+ so that ended being my best trade of the day. It was a secondary trade. For those of you who stayed in the gbp/chf that one was very nice also. Well, back to the Eur/Cad. I will be playing to get out with a minimum loss and then see what happens. I will probably close at a break even level and then decide whether I want to reenter at level 1 again. That will be my strategy.

I agree. I entered 1st level at r1, then r2 second and now r3. R and S levels or pivot points are good places to manually trade this system with signals from STO and MACD. I am beginning to prefer using those instead of a set number that the EA provides. Be interesting if someone could code an EA that used weekly pivot points for reentrance instead of set numbers like my EA. Then each currency pair would be using its own system. It is extremely rare for prices to ever move beyond R3 or S3. I use a support/resistance indicator but using a Pivot system would work also, very similar. There are also different MACD indicators and the MT4 MACD is the slowest of the ones I know about so the red line takes a little longer to get above/below 85/15. Anyway still looks like a good trade to me but you will be more profitable with this one over me. I am just glad some of my other trades went well yesterday. Overall a nice day.

Yeah Eur/Cad came back to even so I closed out, still a nice trade to stay in but I was happy to bail on it. I may reenter on a retrace later, see what it does. Aud/Chf and Gbp/Jpy were both 200+ trades so very happy with them. I didnt see any primary trades to take plus was not home most of the day so I entered no new ones. I decided to take two secondary trades gbp/usd and nzd/usd. Both are bouncing off of resistance and previous highs so they looked safe to me.

download the 180x100 and follow the rules. I have been doing better than 20% a month with it. Just stay away from the big news stories and monitor your margin and lot sizes and you should do well.

Both of the gbp/usd and nzd/usd hit their trailing stops at around 40 pips so no big gainers there. I am leaving for the USA tomorrow so I am not taking any more trades this week. I will be in San Francisco for the weekend and be back in Orlando Florida by Wednesday. I probably wont be doing any trading during this time. With 4th of July week coming up it will be a nice week to relax and be with friends and family. I cant complain about the week, except for the Eur/Cad, which I ended up with just a small loss it was a great week. I hope I can do this well every week, but I know that is not always possible. Still dont know why 15 people voted against the system 11 of them posted negative pole results before the first day of trading with it. Strange. I did an analysis of my trades for June using this system. I only had one currency that lost money and that was the Eur/Cad trade I just talked about it on page 13. Here are my results for the month. 97 total trades winning 71 for a 70% win ratio. That is averageing 3-4 trades a day but I actually slowed down towards the end of the month by taking one or two a day. Some of my loses were from just closing down for the weekend and others were because of multi level trades. So my win ratio is actually higher but this is good enough. The first column is total trades the second is long and the third are short trades.

Reviewing this post and back in May you said to turn off the EA manually. Exactly how do you do that? and in your posts how much dollar wise is a pip using the.1 lot . Thanks.

Go to the right hand corner and click on the smiley face. It will allow you to remove the EA. OR you can create a template with no ea on it and trade manually. The difference between .01 and .10 depends on your broker and their lot sizes. IBFX Micro lots .01 = 1 penny but .01 with a regular account is 10 cents. So it depends on your broker.

pls can someone help me with the instruction on page 1, I downloaded the one on page 1 but it is not opening showing me error.

I've also made one month summary of trading with this strategy.
I didn't have so much time to trade ,so I took only 15 trades.
Apart from signals showed by indicators I watched monthly and weekly pivot
point support and resistance zones.
Here are my results:
15 total trades
11 winners
4 losers
Win ratio 73%

Largest winnig trade :385pips
Largest loosing trade: 159pips

I've earned 1425pips

I like very much the idea of avoiding death by thousand stops...

Hey guy, dont want to sound mean but go to page 1 and read. The EA and explanation are all there. The first thing you do is download the manual. It will tell you the system and how to ues it. It says instructions as the first donwload. You click on it and save the file to your desktop. You can then print it out or read it on your computer. I am not going to rewrite my book here in the forum all over again. Sorry.

If some terms in trading are not understood you can go to babypips.com and take their trading course for free. It will let you become familiar with different aspects of trading and terminology. A great little course for a beginner.

Make sure you have Office 2003 or higher on your computer. You can also try using a different browser. If IE does not work use a Mozilla product like
Firefox or Seamonkey. I just tried downloading the instructions and got it to work.
