Taken on a private game reserve.
They call this lion Number 6, apparently it is the sixth largest lion recorded and weighed, on record. Weighs 245 kg! Eats 40-50kg meat in one sitting.
If this is number 6, I shudder to think what number 1 looked like.

I am starting to put together a summary of the trades done since we started the project.

I will cut it of on Friday after close of trading.

We have tested 1440 240 60 15... 240 60 15 5... 60 30 15 5.. 30 15 5 1
15 5 1
Total trades are 200 and some change.

In addition, we have analyzed the ATR readings over a period of 8 weeks to get a handle on trading ranges, best trading times etc for this method and also for trading in general.

It is quite a task massaging the info into something useful.

Next week, we should have some results and findings, hopefully something that will be useful for the traders.

I am placing the trades manually by market order and some by pending order.

I only use an EA to manage the trades (stops and tp)

Hi guys,

On Gleneagles chart, the trix is clean looking with one line. When I set
it up, I have 3 lines and dont know which one to look at. Can any one
help? Thanks

It is probably MA that you see on the chart, just ignore...
The Trix tests are running on another PC, I am only using the pop-up alarm to keep the charts clean.

In the trix settings under colours it has 0-5. Set the 0 to yellow and all the others to none.
You should then only see one line on your trix indicator. Hope this helps?

Yellow line at bottom of the chart is QQE, I use it as a price alert only because we don`t have an alert function on MTF yet.

It does help when you have to monitor a few trades and screens but it is not part of the system, apologies for the confusion!

Hi Gleneagles,

Can you please explain the below post in more detail? How are you trading the trix with these settings? Are you using them in conjunction with another indicator or merely trading by the trix???

P.S i have managed to pick up 2 trades on the eurjpy tonight, 1 for 59 pips and 1 for 28 pips. Using a mixture of the Forex Trend and the trix at the settings put forward by edge. I also use the 14ma as an indicator also.

It is probably the QQE you are looking at, not part of the trading system but useful as price alert only.
