i agree rac wit 132....didnt take it though, saw similar setups on gj, nu but still learning to spot them before pulling the trigger....lol

Not much of a pin but the move north stalled exactly where I expected (thin blue line). Would be trading down into some traffic (thick blue line) but it is with long term trend and has potential if it can get past the traffic. Any thoughts from the pros?

At the moment EUR is on a big push up. It's fighting to break 1.4000 and I saw this comment in the EURUSD thread on FF. I keep an eye on these threads, not for trading advice as such, but to pick up bits and bobs like this. Not that it really means anything to me but sometimes it keeps me out of the market if I'm unsure.

not yet a pro but look at the size of that pin compared to the one to the left or the bullish pin below which started the initial move...not saying it wont work, its all about location and dats a good location for it to stall and maybe reverse...
by the way im still long on it, and tigthen my SL cos of the rxn to that area, hopefully it continues north....jst my opinion

All flat on positions now.

90 degrees (F) here today and much of this week... Heading to the library to get in some AC and possibly cool off in the Mississippi River later today. About 1/2 mile away.

Just a quick observation. If you were expecting price to stall a bit there, I'd expect others to be thinking the same and take some profits off the table. So looks like profit taking to me, and would be cautious of a reversal after a run like that.

Thanks. What you say makes perfect sense, especially as the bar is not much of a pin to start with. Just the kind of advice I was looking for . This thread is full of helpful people. A real goldmine for us newbies!

Hey, Ikki I have same trade G/J short at 156.74 I missed E/J when it blew by 61 fib I was going to watch at 134.50 o-well. Here is a pair I posted on a couple weeks back and will be lookin to get some long action seems toro juice is ready.

stopped out of my au/us short @ 7916..
now she takes off!!??...it would f*$#@n do now!! hehe
only joking, i took 1/2 off at about +27 so not such a stinger.
trades on chart are demos.

ikki, snap!! i took the chf/jpy also becouse i thought it a great location with the PPZ and the 50% fib.all stops at BE.

hi guys:
I have been watching E/U and U/Chf for a few hours today on Day Timeframe.

it seems never moving at all for +-0.01,
so on Day-tf it seems nothing ever moving at all and stalled (1.40, 1.07)

how do you trade this kind of higher tf chart?
is it place an order and come back to see after 1 day? thanks...

Was really wanting to short this pair at check mark notice the 150ema there also.That damn test of the tl held I am not a giant tl guy but when there simple and obvious I do take note. Watchin this pair for short opprotunities

was dis a blind entry cos i also saw the same thing on gj,ej & nu but didnt see reasonable pa to short but still knew it wld still drop like a rock, did u set a sell limit or based on pa on a lower tf(didnt see anything on the daily apart from IB ...i think) ....thnx

We wait for the market to give direction...placing pending orders on such markets is the last thing you want to do unless you're an ultra aggressive trader and anticipating the consolidation break.
