Yes i get your point. GJ and AJ nose seems longer. But CJ seems to have more space around.

I missed the entry but have left a pending order in case price decides to retest the current bar's low during the next few bars.

But here is a visual example of how I play these blind entries.

A head and shoulders pattern and a dominant down trend...but I said in an earlier post that...



We can see that Gj has responded to the support level. My trades are based on these initial bounces. Could this bounce result in the overall up trend resuming? It may and may not...either ways we've made money.

On a side note...[size=3][u][i][b]THIS...
Nice call - getting close now ... but if it tests again do u have confidence it will bounce ?
I wouldn't be too confident myself - might expect a fall thru ?

The gbp/jpy 4 hour pin off PPZ. some points that i noted:

 

  1. Making lower highs
  2. This is the 3rd test of the PPZ (155)
  3. The PPZ level has been weakened and we may get a breakout to the downside
  4. The pin bar is preceded by a larger bearish bar
  5. We would be buying into (shorter term) weakness


Charts seems more set up for a bearish break, despite 4H pin?

good observations.
gbp strength has been relentless, from mid-May to Mid-June. i think it's now time for gbp weakness.
So i would not be surprised if gj breaks 155. might go to 150-152 easily.
then possibly 140-143, then. who know...s 118 - 123 area & beyond.

i expect u have looked at Daily charts & up too. some of these observations have already been mentioned:
Daily seem to have H & Sh., Weekly has a sort of 2-bar PB, Monthly has a PB forming.

gj has been 1 of those i temporarily ceased to trade (live), but still try to analyze. hope this helps

Looks like it shaping up for a good run down. One thing about the "beast" that I've learned, once she gets going, stay out of her way.

yes Sir, that's good basic, but powerful advice.
To the uninitiated, trading gbpjpy is 1 of the best/worst/fastest way to make &/or lose money. I'll get back at & conquer the beast in the near future.

I know you aren't supposed to have a favorite pair, but if I had trade just one pair it would be GBP/JPY.

no problem with having a favorite pair/s, imo. trading this way actually gets u more focused, & more 'in tune' with a particular currency pair/s.
Like i said, gbpjpy can give u more/take your own money.
