i've been following this thread since paulus started it.


i am trying to find a good scalping strategy that i can use in between placing trades with my system. I usually only get to place trades 1-2 days a week.

so after downloading almost every tpl and indi in this thread, i am lost. some trades i take will be awesome, raking in 50+ pips. but then i will days where i lose EVERY single trade, for -10 to -30 pips.

in the end i cannot seem to utilize this system to be profitable for me.

please: people actually HAVING SUCCESS with a certain method of this system, please post your strat? I really would appreciate it.

currently I am using TM (10/20), tudorgil hg0001a_MTF, TG hydrodynamic vorticity 2.0a, TFSM--- all on 5m timeframe. Simply buying when everything lines up and have at least 15 or 30 or both line up on the HG MTF tudorgirl indi, and closing when price reaches 2 pips past the TM.

Why don't you post a couple of the losing trades so we can have a look, see if we can help?

Only problem, where go take the profit?

So.. closed with a nice 38 pips win
i am now using the tpl in paulus' first post to see how it goes. so far so good

What i've seen till now for scalping, i watch at the 5 min for the short term trend en trade with the 1 min. If 5 mins is long, i only go long on the 1 min chart, and with short olso.. I just follow the system, simple as that.
