It seems that FT (technique scalping) repaints frequently, if so how is anyone trading with it ? Just seen 2 false signals on G/U where histogram changed colour after bar close. Does tudorgirl Vorticity also repaint after bar close?

Yes, it does, but still very useful. Using just the Vorticity indie, I have had a pretty decent night - +61, -30, -5, and two open right now EG +31 and GU +13. Very usable if you take the time to watch it.

Please, before asking about some questinons please reda the whole thread, maybe most of this was aswered. Yes, second version of Annie's Vorticity does repaint, but much less than firs version (the second one does about two-three bars prior)

So if the bars repaint, at what stage do you take them to read true, and therefore confirm the trade.
Sorry if this has been answered before but reading this thread is not easy with the amount of modifications that have been made

Here is a short EU trade for 20 pips. We have a signal candle and a red bar on the single and MTF indicator.

Okay, my version of interpret this is follow: I sitting on front my charts all of the day, trading on 5M candles, and Vorticity using ONLY for exits open trades - if I'm on long position, wait for "flash" of red - it doesn't matter if the indi turns back to blue, I was closed the position - if short vice versa. Understand it?

We are experiencing strong support now - Monthly pivot @ 1.3839. Further Daily support level @ 1.3827 as well as a weekly support level @ 1.3810. Very strong confluence in this current area.

Careful....

Not saying it will hold or reject, but be careful.

Interesting, I entered short too, but my HGMTF 5m didn't change colour until 1 square after yours, so I'm in later after the big down candle. So I'm stuck in there about -12 down at the moment.

Digitalis - your chart is correct! Click to M1 then back to M5 and you will get the red square one bar earlier. The old repainting problem with MT, I'm afraid...

However, the STF indy, which doesn't repaint, caught the first long down candle!

It's dried, had it's 5th coat and ready for wallpapering instead I think.

You're right, as gillybabe called it, the "least" is murderously slow. I might think about trading another pair alongside it, someone suggested trading usdchf at same time. Might have a look at it.

for the other chart packages ?
(Ninja Trader, Tradestation....)

You posted some time ago that you would transform the indicators to
the other platforms.

Hmmm, so maybe I should be using the STF indy in conjunction with the MTF 15m and 30m squares instead, there's a thought. Think I'll have a look at that.

The indis are still "under construction" - Anne is learning to trade and have not some free time Be patient (I must be too )
