Indeed... just plotted it on my charts and couldn't find one single different cluster...

weird...

this new fashion of posting .ex files only - doesn't make sense, always gives a bad feeling of black box, going blind, etc

- if somebody want to seal it and sell on e-bay - they will do so,
decompile and put their names, - but then - who could tell - it's stolen, plagued, whose code is it; ...except author alone...

if (cci > 0 && ma_0 > ma_1) buffer1[i] = 1

it doesn't depend of cci behaviour either: cci cross zero = ma1 cross SMA(cci period) (here-sma50)

so we have 2 ema cross (macd) + price/sma cross (ma1/sma cross)....

I have downloaded the indicators from post #414 and placed them in my brokers program files but when I bring up the trading platform, it crashes. Any idea what is going wrong? Thanks, Delage

I'm using the older version. I did not change it when TG posted a new one because I have not experienced any repainting on the 1 hour TF.

Sure you put the file on MT4>Experts>Indicators folder?

Shut down the platform after that and reloaded?

Updated version?

Since we were only looking at CCI's sign, all we really needed was an SMA. It just computes faster. Here it is, stripped down to 1 SMA and 2 EMAs.

had the same problem.
if you remember the username/passwd the safest is to reinstall the whole thing. (obviously that's easy on live)
however, what I've done was the following: backed up the "config" folder, deleted ini files one by one and one starting MT4 after each deletion to see which file caused the problem. I can't recall which one was it but deleting one of them (maybe terminal.ini?) solved this mysterious crash issue.

Add optional alert, sound pop up telling which pair and
arrow on chart for when there is a cross, ie color change
up or down or no man's yellow.

Can someone here do that??
That way we will have the same as a HG 5 min alert
(or 15 min, etc for the chart you have it on)

Do you enter trades as soon as theTM and HV conditions are met as per post #1503, or do you wait for the hourly candle to close?

Always, in any time frame, wait till the candle is closed. Remember that "price action" is your first and foremost indicator.
