hope all going well for you in Japan and am sure that you will enjoy being back when you return. Wellington is stil a great place and although very chilly presently is a vibrant and very exciting city.. are you testing the THV EA and are you trading actively or just putting a tentative toe in the water??

Those arrows are from Gartley indicator, I have not check if it has a setting for not showing arrows. If you dont need the indicator, you can remove it from chart.
I changed the color of these settings to background color and it seem to work fine..so far!

You are in Wellington? I actively trade fap turbo and megadroid while I sleep, THV system generally london or new york session for scalping, bargain-hunting when I can and long-term grid-trading with an EA built by a friend currently long usdcad. My goal is around 200 pips per day...some days I get it easily (yesterday being one), some days it evades me.

I am not actively trading this EA until I receive some assistance from one of the experienced members of this thread with settings but look forward to it. I cannot post on this forum from my home pc, have tried everything and no-one has any ideas so I'm not very active at ff.

Back to this thread. Good work on your account...look forward to seeing your future results. You are still demoing the original set file or have you changed settings?

Same for me testing the usd/chf 1m and 5m. Just no good results. I let it run for a couple days, make changes, let it run, watch, watch.
well at least you are getting a few trades per day =) i'm getting 1 per 2 weeks lol takes long time )

NO trades so far in the day Asian and London so far..will attach the .set files at the end of session.

I've just downloaded the THV EA v06 and set it for testing. However is says that this version expires on 2009/07/01.
Does anyone have an idea if there will be a new version. I'm interested in using it. Sees pretty good EA.

Here are the results of doing the 1m tf. My observation is that it is too risky for me.Although it seemed to do not to bad, I think I am going back to 15 min.

lol you think Wellington is chilly, try Southland mate brrrrr, I guess that makes 3 kiwi's
karun; Does the "gartley" indicator actually have any function in the ea or is it there merely for visual reference? I assume so since I can find no mention of it in the user guide and no way to change settings. Is it possibly used in the code? Just my curiosity.

If this has been covered I must have missed the post, my apology.

I am seeing a lot of drop of connection to mt4 today?

I was going to try a test where I would use the 1m 5m 15m 30m and 1hr tf on the eu pair, but I can see a potential problem since I use IBFX.There might be an instance when one tf would want to trigger a buy and the other tf would want to trigger a sell?

Gartley indicator is used to take trades with patterns. The indicators are not discussed in the user guide because either they have been covered in other manuals in the 1st post or it could be found in internet.
I agree, very impressive indeed! Keep up the good work!..

However I do have few concerns, purely from MM perspective. 12 Pairs for 10,000 K account seems too much, especially with lot sizes of .2,.5,1.00. Couple of big losers on 3-4 pairs could bring down acct balance very badly. I suggest either cut down the number of pairs or standardize you lot size accordingly.But that is probably for next week.

Please continue the testing as it is and lets see where it goes at the end of the week. It could be an interesting observation

I am thinking of using my laptop and put it on home wireless to test just the patterns without THV rules and slowly start adding on it. Just to confirm that patterns are working fine just by themselves.

Try changing PriceCrossCoral to 0,I think it could have kept you of some trades whether other entry conditions are met.
