It is an expert advisor that doesn't take trades, it just manages the ones you take. You can set it to TP any size slice of your position at several different points. For example 0.1 at 20pip, 30pip, 50pip... It also moves your stop up if you so prefer. Check it out
I'm having some success using this tool would suggest others try it out if you have problems booking profit.

Answer is right in front of you, albeit I admit it can at times be difficult to see the forrest through the trees.

Any indi combo will suffice. As mentioned previously you have at least 17 good choices within this thread. You only need two to accomplish your goal though. Just make the trade according to your plan.

Perfect example here on the Eur/Usd. Took several quick trades today. Saw what my plan was set to divulge same as with TM/TG materials. Look what happened when I decided to be a smart-ass and anticipate that which had no chance of materializing. Wham!!!! Was flung like baby pooh!

In addition, many will interpret the charts as showing tons of pips left on the table. Horse Hockey!!!

How am I to know how far a move will go? I simply trade a predetermined TP target, work on account growth and move on trade to trade.

I am neither flaming or dissing those looking for larger pip counts or additional indi's to help them feel more confident as a trader.

Am simply stating as earlier, 'less can sometimes be more', especially when trading. My mindset is more attuned to getting 5-10 pips with a few lots as opposed to 30-50 pips with one lot.

Yes sir, i am primararily an options trader. But, Something interesting going on statistical probabilities model in forex markets here.

My own goals are +1.5%/-3.5% of account value using as many contracts as leverage will allow and suffering as little market action as PA will force me to.

Sometimes I can do well on 4-5 trades daily, sometimes it takes more if I encounter win/loss, win/loss, win/loss type trading. Sometimes, I simply get me hide skinned and PA rules the day. One thing for sure, it is always varied trade to trade and day to day.

Dog Pack Attacks Gator In Florida

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.

The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the "apex predator", can still fall victim to implemented 'team work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and "survival of the pack mentality" bred into the canines.

Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator.

I feel your pain. I lack the psychological skills taught in TRADING IN THE ZONE by Mark Douglas.

I get better......have a good day thinking my trading is secure, post a winner on the thread; then psychologically go off the path, then back on, off, on, etc.

Jumping between methods just to add something new throws me off trying to adopt it. What I did successfully yesterday I have now changed and back into confusion I go.

At least with your method I doubt anything is better so I pray my concentration stays here. I should know by now there is nothing better!

3 trades today, all this morning. 1 loser and 2 winners. Nett pips 68.

Learnings:
1. I've realised I am still unclear on the entry trigger, after comments from Paulus this morning re which order the HG indicators need to change colour. At the moment, I'm going to stick with his rules from post #414 unless there's an update:
Short
5 min goes red and matches either the 15 or 30 min
Price below TM which will be red
Long
5min goes blue and matches either 15 or 30 min Price above TM which will be blue

2. Beware of using this method on gbpjpy after 13.30 as it seems to get very choppy.

3. The new HV indicator from TG kills the CPU on my laptop!

4. If you make a silly post, do what I did this morning and delete it, by then several others will already have commented on it and others will wonder what the heck they are talking about.

Excellent daily net and good observations to boot.

I too have learned much this week in particular.

1. I suck at physics.

2. I rot at math.

3. I enjoy applying multiple indi combo's and getting the same results as that which I began with. Love the multiple options available to me.

4. There are some VERY astute folks out there, especially within this thread. Even those not as accomplished trading as others have tremendous potential.

5. When the 'beast' is hungry, leave the table. Consolidation in that pair will reap destruction upon the lower TF trader. There are plenty of other options available.

I would like to run a quick consensus on what swaps we are trading this on
No comments plse just a simple 6 letter prefix plse

For example Im looking at GBPJPY so I will put

GBPJPY 1

when you reply delete every thing apart from GBPJPY if you trade it also put this

GBPJPY 2 perhaps you trade EURUSD so it would then look like this

GBPJPY 2
EURUSD 1

I want to get a feel of what people are trading on but please NO COMMENTS after this post if you want to play all you should see is 6 fig prefix and the number of votes per swap

i had the same problem. go to tools/options/charts/max bars in chart and decrease the number until your laptop works fine.
worked well for me.
