I do not think it is possible at this version,since the exits are based on indicator / sr / psyhc level or TP, but not both.

As promised here are my modified set files. Giving good profit but the market is very dynamic so I'm still making changes as I learn more about the variable from the manual on daily basis. Progamming of this EA is testing out to be very solid.


I'm able to run as many pairs as possible on my laptop which is Aspire 8930 by Acer. I'm a big fan of Acer and they are HUGE in Asia just not here on the west.

I love my 15M TF it has been nothing but good to me. It's not too slow for me and not too fast. Gives me time to make good choices on the fly. I get maximum amout of profit from this TF compared to others I have forced myself to trade.

My feedback on the EA.

If we can have the Variables grouped a bit better that would be really helpful as there are so many and some alsmost sound the same.

posibly replace the "-------------------------" with actual lables like "entery settings"

Is there a way for xux to put in buble help or hint in the settings window to display little discription of what each variable is in more details?


I have noticed that when a bad signal gets picked up and triggered by the EA and goes into negative pips within first few bars and stays there for hours and bounces back above for 10 to 15 pips and ends up going down again. If we can code it to pick this up and say close the order on the rebound to a predefined "X" variable pips would be really helpful and increase the winning ratio by a huge amount. This case should only trigger once the price has spend x amount of time or bars in negative pips for buy or sell.

I'm not too sure if the above statement makes any sense to you guys or if you agree. It's just my opinion from programming point of view to make this ea even more AI like.

what do you guys think?

Thanks everyone for your kindness!

This may sound dumb, but can the Damiani Volatometer or another indicator that would tell us when we are in consolidation and/or about to break out for a nice microtrend on the lower timeframes be utilized as a further filter?

Just started using the trix and the Damiani seems to have worked on these last two congestion periods below even though it's hard to see from the thin lines that the Damiani told us to stay out of the consloidations, and only take trix signals when breaking out.

Anyway, just my silly musings.

Have you tried to use the MTF setting? I have tried it with original setting as well as changing the time frame to 15min fast, 15min slow, 30min fast and 30min slow for my 5mins GBPJYP pairs but out come is no open trade for the passed whole week. Will try your settings which is 100 for ichimoku cloud. Let see if I can get a profitable open trade.

I have been using the V.5 of the EA and it has now expired, is there another version that is not expired out there someplace

If it can be done this would be great for lower time frames as well. I'm testing 1M TF and I noticed that if price moves in wrong direction more then once the trade has very high % of probability of becoming a looser.

Why do you name it usdcad if you seem to use it on eurusd 15M? Is it good for all pairs?

eg :

I'm not sure about x amount of time, but if you set CloseIfProfit = true, in the above scenario(when the price bounces back) it will close either in profit or BE. Try it out and let me know how it works.

Made just a few changes to the file such as add a 15pip breakeven.Over all had a +50.00 profit using the majaors.There were just two trades that look like they should of taken the opposite?
Also I guess since there are 000 in the mtf trix dot 1-4 only the mtfichimoku was being used by the ea.Also perhaps using sr levels and psych levels.

I had replaced over or saved over usecad.set file just because I don't want too many set files. Sorry for the name mistype.

Karun I do have CloseIfProfit = true. It works for most parts but I still see some negative pip stoploss and It does not account for swap rates. I just think if there was a place for us to define how much "profit" we would like on the rebound, we would have more controll? I don't know how the EA determines or what formula it's using for CloseIfProfit variable. I think 10 to 15 pip rebound close would be a profit of $100/$1000/$10000 for people depending on their lot size. Maybe you guys can put it on the table for cobra and the team to look at this feature for this ea. This method works great for me on manual trading and these small gains really add up at the end of the month.

I'm enjoying testing this ea even though the majority of the testers have faded out.

attached is an example of two trades that could have been closed for profit on rebound for atleast 10 pips for sure. One close for 0.00 others for -18.21 and -10.34. These could have been +pips. I had one trade close for 0.00 but it had $3.00 swap rate charge on it so that makes it -3.00.

These are just my observations and feedback. Please do not take them as demands.

Let's see what we can do this week.

Here is an update on my EA testing.

I changed my set file yesterday to see if I could get any trades made. I not only turned of patterns, per Karun's request, but also ignored relationship to the cloud and 4HR trend. After doing so, I did get 2 trades, -14 and +34. That set is the first one below.

Then, I changed my set back to Karun's prescribed settings which are now in use (second set below).

Any comments are welcome.

Hello everyone,

I changed around all the settings in the first post I made as I wanted to test other things people were not. None the less I blew the demo account. No worries as I was just testing different settings and see how the ea handled it.

On a 2nd note, I have been following the thread and the results that were posted. I think Cyberevil and many other people have good ideas. I am sure Karun, Cobra, XUX and the rest of the
wonderful THV team will look at everything that is mentioned. It does not mean everything will be implemented but from my experience they do consider ideas.

Thanks for your feedback cyberevil. The problem with rebound is that we will never know how much positive it will go(or will it become +ve at all), in those cases I would rather get 0 than -$. However, I dont know how to handle swap, have to check with Xux99.

I had 5 trades today on EUR/USD on TF1M 4 positive and 1 negative. I wanted to follow the rules MissPips has given us. As we don't have 10MTF lights I went with six lights (1m fast, 5min fast, 5 min slow, 15min fast and 5,15 cloud) TP=10 minSL=15 SL=3xATR(20). The tricky part is not to let EA trade when PA is bouncing off the pivot (so I used SRdistance=8) and the loosing trade was opened in such condition. But if you use higer SRdistance trade could be opened too late and trading chanel becomes very narrow. Do you have any suggestions how to solve this problem?

I'm short in time at the moment but lurking, what said CE has some truth in it and I will try to find a bit of time to analyse it well as I experienced something similar in the past.

Hi,
first of all, I would to thx all those who put a lot of affort and time to bring this masterpiece to the life. There is no doubt that THV EA has great future if you guys will keep going developing it.

Today I made some tests on 5min EUR/USD pair. Well, overall trade is positive(avr. trade +28pips), but there were also some heavy dropdowns(-90pips, -64pips). This EA has troubles with FLAT trend, especialy when market volation is very low. In such cases it will mostly open positions in wrong direction. I belive this is all about finding right settings/parameters. And I hope soon we will find them.

I'm really interested to help you with the testing. Also I could do some coding work if needed.
