Hi B:

Yesterday, I didn't short onto anything last night on the Eur/Usd Scalp; I saw that there was ONLY one 'valid' short (The three drives up) setup but I didn't short it; as I believed at this juncture, I should be looking for long setups only (when it comes to scalping the market). And most importantly, I don't make any trade against the Bullish Andrew's Lines.

Several times, the Up Sloping Andrew's Lines have to be adjusted for entries; but these are only minor pivot adjustments. For now, this little short-term bullish Andrew's Lines is being contained by the Bearish 20-min Andrew's Lines. Take care.

Don't waste time on crap talk like that. Study your THV earnestly and stop wasting time as lots of potential profits are waiting for the hard workings. I wouldn't be surprised the thread is flushed down the toilet; cause it's all crap talk.

AUD news coming out in three minutes or so... I've learned my lesson on trading around news time...however I think that these two items shouldn't have too much an impact... but I'll wait and see. I'm still trying to figure out what news report move the market and to what degree when they are announced...

I'm sure a lot of traders would like to know that too. One thing I try not to do (thanks Cobra) is trade the THV spikes when they come quick and hard after news... better for me to trade in mellow times..not volatile times.

A strange thing ...

Been trading longer TFs for a while now and recently added the AUDJPY to the basket - suggested by BeachBum - otherwise I probably would never have looked at it, as I trade the London session.

Oddly this pair seems to move in tandem with the EURUSD
Check out the attached charts - similar or what !

Why there is some sort of correlation between the EURUSD and the AUDJPY during the London session, I have no idea - but there it is ....

This is an interesting find. If such pattern happens on a continuous basis, it should be an alternate way to trade the market; as the Eur/Usd can get nutty at times.

HEADS UP to the new/not so-new THV thread readers:
something's fishy with tracom & popee83 (& possibly et. al.).

Be careful with people who have a few posts/just joined FF & suddenly BARGE IN TO THREADS & INTRODUCE HIMSELF/THEMSELVES, WITH ANOTHER BUNCH of UNRELATED INDICATORS to boot. If u have ethics & respect, u would introduce yourself in a different way or in your own thread.

Barging in to a progressive thread like THV?? to attract attention? & probably try to proselytize & at the same time confuse people.
Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm not in favor of how u just popped in here with the introduction & indicators. This is already an ESTABLISHED THREAD. if u want to make improvements/diversions, suggest u do it respectfully in a new thread RIGHT FROM THE START.

BE CAREFUL people. Those who are trying to learn THV, i suggest u keep your focus.
I also urge Cobra & the team to be very vigilant.

This is just a heads up.

Starting noticing the similarilty about two weeks ago, but thought is was coincidence - now not so sure.

I will keep a check and report back.

Made my pip quota early today so have some 'play' time.

Dug out the heatmap indi to look at my trading pairs - looking at this the AUDJPY does show some correlation with the EURUSD - but maybe not as much as the AUDUSD.

The differences may be news related as the EURUSD fall an hour ago followed a medium news event. Trading a correlated pair instead of the EURUSD may get away from the news lottery.

First of all Sir ,let me take this minute to clear something up, I have been following this post since its interception back in NOV. If you can recall in order to post you needed a pass in order to share idea's on the system.
It was just recently opened up.
Cobra and his team has done a superb job in bringing us a great system for free, I am sure alot of time and energy went into the project. I do not wish to sell anything, i don't know how to program computers, I am just trying to learn a decent system
2nd, This is an open forum were one can discuss alternatives or express ideas on expanding any system, as long as it brings a profit. This is not the first time other indi's where introduced to enhance this system. Now I'm not trying to take anything away from anybody, but who are you to criticize ones motives-it amazing how you guy's go and get bats and start chasing everybody away, the guy apologized and now his idea's are somewhere else.
I'm suspicious of you sir who don't want anybody to learn anything.

Hello.
I'am a new trader (2 month). ~ 2 weeks I use THV system. It is exelent and clear even for begginers. Thank you.
But. I am starting to read this post from first page there is first version of system. I tade with it and contine to read this post. When I saw another system, which is newer. And third, which is more newer. Now I use system as in att.
May be it is possible to place the last version with short instructions on the first page?

On this page it shows "strong" correlation. The table was a bit overwhelming at first, but spend a few minutes with it and it makes sense.

Yes, but an indicator is useless if you dont understand how it fuctions. Cobra has given us a set of indicators and shown us how it worked for him, others have shown how it works for them myself included. If you bothered to read the posts that show winning trades you would see we dont need to add more indicators. Seriously if you want a hand to set up to trade the 15m tf PM me, i'm only to happy to help

Hello Friends,

I just make a great trade where the TP was reached in less than 1 minute.

After closing the trade realized that the market was +40 pips in my favor.

I would like to know the most experienced, if I closed my trade more quickly, or if I should expect more ... My intention was to put the next resistance near the TP, but I do not think the graph would rise much.

Have I done right in putting the TP on the next line of Pivot ... Because I always see people saying that we should not be greedy, so, I decided to close the trade before the big up move.

I think you did wisely. At the time, you had no foresight about the potential for a further move. We are not trying to get all the pips possible, just enough to keep our accounts growing.

An option you can consider in the future is to close most of your position, if there are multiple lots in play, bring your stop loss to entry, then see what happens with the rest.

Let me give my two cents in this talk, please.

All this started with the intruduction of indicators which haven't been aproved by the THV team, that is against the thread rules and some of our fellowers mentioned that.

I recommended to open an own thread with whatever of those indis and it's done, fine and good luck with that.

Now let's come to popee, he introduced himself as an institutional trader but on the other side related FX to Las Vegas.

No serious trader ever will say that FX is gambling !!!!
