Hi Every1
AS I can see a lot has happened since the last time I posted. And I am glad the improvement is still going. I am still using the orignal version from the start of this thread and I have no regrets, have been using it for over two months on live account (amazing results not without loses though) and the losses are usually paid for without troubles. My style is patience if the move is on the way four to five session I dont force my way in I look for other opportunities or wait for few day of reversal and get in.
Also I use the TIP

To give me a feel of the likely direction of the USD. It is negatively correlated to the USD.

Hey ActionPL,

Got a question: Shouldn't trading be all closed and stopped this way? See picture. I got Main_DownTrend_Close_Alert_20 on my trend line description.
I'm quessing I shouldn't write word ''Close'' in my main trend line, is that correct?

Actionpl; I placed the 1.5b on 4 hr tf but showed waiting for main trend all day, I just switched it to the Daily and then I finally had enabled to trade. I wonder why. Secondly in the word document, I do not understand how we are going to draw another trendline on the 4 hr or 1 hr chart when the Main_UpTrend_Alert_ is on the daily chart. Won't switching time frames affect the ea. You can have an other trendline with a description “DownTrend_Alert_” to manage your trade more closely than the main trendline which is normaly base on the daily chart. The other trendline could be setup on 4hr or 1 hr charts as you wish.

Your right, this trade should be closed as soon the trendline is hit.
P.S. you don't have to put any number at the end of the Alert for a Close.
Your description should have been. "Main_DownTrend_Close_Alert_"

I will verify with the simutator to see if i can reproduce this using the Main trendline.
I will let you know.

HI, Normally if you see waiting for main trend, it mean that the EA does not recognize your Main trend description. Verify the spelling. If everything is ok, re-initialize the EA by using Key F7 and enter. When you switch time frame, you re-initialize the EA, i think it's why the EA start when you switch to a daily timeframe.

Question#2. You can have as many trendline draw on the chart as you want. Only the trendline with Main in the description will drive your EA long or short. All the others will react to your description. Remember, The EA will switch between normal trade to broken state and back to normal trade each time price action will hit a trendline with an Alert_ in the description.
Switching time frames will not cause the EA to go wrong. It has his own timeframe control. Switching time frame on your chart is only what you see, the EA is not using the time frame that you see to take action. It use what you have set on the variable "Chart_Time_Frame"

Hope this does not confuse you more. Try it on the simulator to see how it work.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem and I've checked my spelling and it seems to be ok. It started out ok and made a few trades but when I saw what I thought was a trend reversal, I deleted the first trend and added a new trend. I included a screenshot so you can see how I drew the trendline and the description. Still not quite sure what I've done wrong.

Hi, according to your screenshot, your description is not right. You should have a capital letter to trend. It should look like this. "Main_UpTrend_Alert_"

Also if your EA is stuck in the init state and you see that there is trading going on, try to re-initialize the EA, if it stuck in the init mode, exit the metatrader and restart it.

So Ok now.
I downloaded latest ea. And read manual there is written How the Code Works

Firebird-v63H04_H_Ashi_Trend_vs1_5b is a fully automated code set regarding entry and exit points but does require the manual placement and naming of an up or down trend line.


So i put ea on 4H eurusd that heikenashi now is white colored for long trend but no trades no nothing. I am sorry maybe i misundestood something?
Oh and also i placed trend line and named it Main_UpTrend_Alert_
And nothing.....4H timeframe I work.

Looking at your chart top left corner, it displays "Waiting for Main Trend", this means it does not recognize your trend line. Coding or spelling in your trend-line object is wrong. Double click on your trend-line, then right click on it, select "trend-line properties" option, then "common" - "description" and enter the description as "Main_UpTrend_Alert_". Then, if the EA sees your trendline, it will display in top left, the description "== trades enabled == safe to trade ==".

terrible i am an idiot. Sorry all working well.....
i was writing not in Description i was writing in NAME.

So the ea now can work on whatever chart i put is not neccessary to use template for tend recognizing on Daily and ea on 5m?

Now ea writes "== trades enabled == safe to trade ==".

Эксперт можно на любой график вешать, не обязательно на м5. Там в настройках есть опция "Chart time frame". Вот её ставь =5, а сам эксперт вешай куда удобно. У меня на Н4 он висит.

Please, does the "TS" change the "Stop Loss" in coordination with "Take Profit" and "TS trigger" ONLY as described in "FB EA Settings" )?

Or does it also in a "normal manner" separatelly? I was in profit 70 pips,
Trailling Stop=40, TStrigger=20, Trailing Stop Flag=true, no trend lines in a graph, and my stoploss hasn't changed.
