Kinda, but I would wait till 15 mins go red, you can enter, but expect that it might go high as 15 mins is still blue ....

I agree. I tend to like a higher TF. I was using 1 HR last week with more success. Today I used 5M with less success. I will try the 15 M for a while. Thanks!

I can understand your pain with waking up for UK session and then goto the job, as I live in EST as well.
But I would say, with this kind of system, its really worth it to awake whole night and make some pips. US market is so choppy now a days, I would say you won't find an excellent trade as you would in UK session, mainly you will see a trend change and pocket some more pips there. US session is kind of scalping, not really for 2-5 pips, but for 25-50 pips with this system. Untill now, I haven't traded UK session, but I am planning to trade for about 2-3 hours.
Most of the volatility and trend change start around 1 hour before UK opens which is 2 am EST.

This is why I'd like to somehow use this system with an EA. I am also EST. I could stay up all night and be a zombie, but I live in FLORIDA where it's nice and sunny and not the most conducive place to being on a comp 15 hrs/day

The trends most definately start with the London session, so by am EST you may only be left with the sloppy seconds

Thanks for the info. I will get up at 2AM and try it out tonight. Hopefully I can bag some pips in 2 hours and still get to bed for some addes sleep before that dreaded 6AM alarm.

BTW, these 15M charts are looking much friendlier to me, I have always been a longer tf trader

Just caught that monster run on the NQ and ES using this system for a $105 1 Car profit on the NQ and a $225 1 Car profit on the ES. This system is becoming quite versatile. I also have been using it since early today with mixed signals. I will be trying tomm on a higher time frame as the 5 min stopped me out too many times and just gave me wary sideways signals.

The more longer TF, more longer S/L.
Here is my initial thoughts : I time my entry on 1min and 5min (either both being red or blue), then once it move to the direction that we wanted to, just move yourself on a next time frame. This way you will have best entry on a trade, and you can stay longer on the trade.
As being said that, I would only consider my position on a next time frame only if it move more than 40-50 pips, if it retrace back, take the profit and be happy that.

I have not traded it but I looked at D1(1440) 240 60 15 settings a while ago with refined entry on 5m maybe.

Less trades from what I remember but some very big trades if you hook up with the trend.

Check it out if you have a chance and let us know whether you see any merit in it. I just gave it a quick eyeball.

Im with you on that one. Not sure if anyone else looked, but the week before last on GY looked like something of a train wreck on the 5 min. Going back tonight to take a closer look at that week.

I agree also. We need to test this baby in the worst and best of conditions. Warming response so far considering there has been about 800 responses in the past 4-5 days.

My eyes are tired, this trade looks like +- 450 pips on longer TF.

Quite right!!

Very early to speculate on London being better than U.S. also. Lets give it a week or so and see. The method should be versitile enough to encompass either session. Especially, the overlaps.
