He really doesnt know anything different than any of you.

The only difference might be that he gets to hear my rants instead of reading them.

when he first started on demo several years ago i made a deal with him.

i told him the only way it will work is if your picky. i told him i would pay him something for every month he went positive and i would take it away if he was negative.

he struggled at first but it did not take him long to see the light.

thats what im most proud of about his trading.

now that its his real money its very rare that he does something flat out dumb.

He took the baby PB on the Daily Cad. He is expecting more out of it then it gave. (I believe.) It wasn't a high quailty setup, due to the size of the PB but it worked out.

How did u personally go about teaching & introducing him to trading?

Like i said above, i'll make a "press statement" later... just to clarify & finalize things.

it'll make u prouder when i reveal that i'm generally a very aggressive, idealistic, audacious, non-conformist person, but the PATIENCE & SOBRIETY i learned & acquired from this thread -- mainly thanks to you, jarroo, mbqb11, etc-- translated itself (from trading) into my general personality. it really helped a lot.

I took the time off, mainly because its Central bank rate decision yesterday/last night (ECB, BOE, BOC.... & US jobs data later) & i lack a LOT of sleep (just 5hrs of sleep yesterday, between june 3-4; 3-6hrs of sleep all throughout this week; & my PC needs more rests too). Also, i contemplated on how to address the "issue" at hand ---- with this i exercised the "james16 thread-acquired" Patience & Sobriety .

Respectfully, every human deals with fear, greed, and regret. It is how we handle and react to those emotions that make us different. I applaud the young man.
But if he hasn’t already dealt with his ego, it is only a matter of time and he will need to learn to confront it just like the rest of us.
