For some reason Bovespa was a drag today...

But at least it kept nose above 54,000 points, which was key tech level for the bulls... Too much time hovering around 53k would be a call for profit taking, and we don't want that.

Found the debris of flight Air France 447 off the Brazilian coast...

Mistery, your name is Air France 447.

I know a few things about airplane, I'm kind of an enthusiast. Not a big deal, I mean, I flight Flisht Simulator from the 95 to the 2004 versions

But you tell me that an Airbus A330 just crash and burn during cruise? Turbulence? Lightning? That's bull...

If I have to guess, there are two major possibilities that authorities are not talking about (obviously):

- Terrorism, which would be awkward - who the hell blows up an airliner in the middle of the night in the middle of the ocean with scarce chance of even recoverying the flight data recorder?

- Generalized malfunction - and that S-C-A-R-E-S THE LIVING JESUS OUT OF ME.

You know those A3XX are all fly-by-wire aircrafts. That means that commands from the pilot go via electronic information to electric motors that move the control surfaces of the airplane. That's not the problem.

The REAL problem is that Airbus implemented a set of systems to take over the airplane in case something odd happens: sudden acceleration (horizontal and vertical) - sudden dive, sudden you name it.

And this "take over" system does not allow the pilot to take over the plane back - assuming that a screwup human that screwed up a flight cannot unscrew it back to normal.

When those motherf*ing sensors malfunction, they make the airplane "think" something wrong is going on (when it's not) then the system takes over and makes the airplane go crazy and there is nothing in THIS EARTH the pilot can do about...

Now I ask you - how smart are those guys at Airbus to do such a thing?

Whatever... 228 people were killed and I will give you my little finger as they won't ever discover what happened. I even doubt they will recover the flight recorder..

* and BTW, those MOTHERF*ING flight recorders don't float on water... HOW DUMB IS THAT??? One of the busiest airspace ON EARTH is the North Atlantic and the FLIGHT RECORDERS DON'T FLOAT!!! ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME? styrofoam YOU MORONS!!! STYRO-F*ING-FOAM!!!

there's probably 10 flight recorders on an aircraft that size, you can bet they only find 9 and not the one that will answer the question fo how and

also
? why don't they make the whole plane out of the same material as the flight recorder?

They were saying that Sully was flying an airbus when he landed on the hudson river so that this airbus should still be able to float for a few hours.....in the ocean........with 3 meter waves

On a serious note I am normally not affected by plane crashes and will jump on one the next day but this one.........this one, as Ceaser said, scares the living Jesus out of me. Maybe cause a perfectly good, new plane just crashes for the hell of it out it the middle of the atlantic-F*ING ocean.

It's typical new plane issues, you forget that the boeing range are all based on tried tested and crashed test data, they had 5 planes crash due to a small hydraulic component in the tail controls, when the pilot turned left it went right and into a spiral downwards, and the more the pilot tried to correct the path the more it turned - some clever sod in a lab was testing parts from the crash and figured out that the tail frooze (which should not have effected the part) but it caused a failure in an 'O'ring which allowed the control to switch modes.

Lets hope they solve this one quicker.

just for note - the black box (data recorder) is not black and countries such as USA UK etc have a higher requirement for them than some other countries there not just one on this thing theres probably a dozen.

well that was a pointless post - but i made it and i don't care.

now maybe i should go post a sell USD post somewhere

I think the same way. In fact, the world's safest flight to catch was the Air France 447 A330 from Rio to Paris on the day after the crash.

i wish our brokers will be test running and crashing new trading facilities,you know,like testing a new order taking machine,when you make 100pips it fails and posts 100,000pips,..boy! i will so close my account the next day...hmmm
