Also you are not using MTF settings for Trix or Ichimoku, this means your trades are solely based on current tf settings only.

All the related settings are there in the manuals present in the first post. All you have to do is, to read them. If you want to be spoon fed of everything, Sorry.

here is my settings files, I guess I made a few mistakes there because i'm half a sleep now) I will leave it running overnight , if there is any suggestions pls post them. I tried to make everything as close as posible to Karun's post # 479

FF does not allow to post .set files, all files are posted as txt or in a zip file.

Firstly thankyou to all who have worked on making this EA a success and for the generosity of you all in allowing us mortals to test with it. Very exciting.
I have been quietly testing it on the 1 hour timeframe on many pairs with mixed results. Mainly it closes out a trade too early for a profit and too late when in a losing trade. An example repeated many times is profits of between $3-15 and $9-00 on winning NZD/USD trades but losses of $112-25 to $324!

I have the EA running 24/7 on a virtual server and allow it to trade withoujt intervention. If you would like another tester please advise.

I will download the new version and report back my successes and failures in the next month.

I've been studying the settings over the weekend. Got it all set up nice but did not use the given .set file from cobra from the 1st post. Played around with my own for bit.

It's still not perfect and i'm still not 100% satisfied but here are the results for 1st day. 100% winners! yay!!!

I have couple of questions but I"m going to re-read this thread and the new manual once again to understand and see if I can answer my own questions.

Props to Karun for all his hard work with the Q&A today! Good work buddy!
I also got bit curious and read little about cobra and his car trading business Seems like a very nice person!

I had no trades last night on both time frames. I am using the last set files that I post, and the only change to them is the OB/OS levels of +/- 0.0001.

On your 15M set, the maxcrossichimoku looks less, also your MTF trix settings are for 5M Fast, 15M Slow, 15Fast, 30M Fast, I'm not sure if that is your intended settings...

I did not get a trade last night on the EU15 or 30. I took the suggestion from post 524 and updated the set files for the next London-NY session.

There was one trade taken in the 15M TF but for no profit. It was my intention to use the ATR but I must has an incorrect setting. to trigger that. Could you take a peek and suggest where the mistake is.

Thanks for all your help as it is quite challenging for us mere humans with two TF sets vs you coordinating all of this.

When PriceCrossCoral and PriceCrossIchimoku both are false, EA does not seem to take any trades. It looks like either one of the condition has to be true, let me know if any body else noticed this.

Hi All

I have been doing some back testing of the settings Karun recommends on a 5min EURUSD. When I look at the journal I am getting the following error:

08:04:00 2009.05.19 17:55 THV3 Trix called EURUSD,M5: unknown subwindow number 1 for ObjectCreate function

Hello Wonderwoman make sure you have the trix called indicator attached to the chart and I think that error will go away.I just turned on cross coral and PriceCrossIchimoku off and have not had a trade past 24hrs.

If you have added Trix Called to your chart in strategy tester, the error should not come. But the journal will have the error entries from the moment strategy tester starts and till you add the chart. You can right click on the journal entries and click clear entries, that will remove all old journal entries from the strategy tester window.

Thats an impressive one. Can you resize your attachments or use manage attachments in the posting screen to upload the image, so that FF will resize the image automatically.

Great EA as well as the THV system is.
Great thanks to Cobra and everyone involved in this projects.

Just 1 question, is there the possibility to have an alarm sound when EA find the conditions for entry (or when EA initiate a trade)

I made those few changes, but I still haven't had any trades.
EA is up on EUR/AUD, H1 and H4 running during the Asia/London markets.

Here are my current .set files and pics of my charts, any problems there?
