You may want to revisit the values for these settings, otherwise everything looks fine.

MaxCrossIchimokuPips=35.00000000
CloseIfProfit=1
MoneyManagement=1 ( should be 0, since we are using fixed lot settings)
Martingale=1 ( should be 0)
I think I have covered all the posted set files, Let me know if I have missed any body's set file.

Hello Karun - accordingly with your post 534 on page 36 I have changed now the set - see atached files. I think now all parameters agree with the start instructions ? "CloseIfProfit" is now switched to "false" too.

Could you plz explain the second part of your answer in your post 534 ? I think the MTF trix setings we can change using the parameters "ePeriod#" and "ePeriod# Type". Can't find any explanation for this in the manual. But it seems to me these "ePeriods ..." are responsible for the MTF rows below the THV chart - the same I can see for the MTF Ichimoko - so what can we do ? For 1M the upper TF are 5 and 15 M ? right ? How can I change the "row" settings especially for 1M and 5M to have different setings as write in your answer post 534 ? I'd like to do that perhaps !?
So plz check my actual settings for UJ 1M + 5M. Here they are !

Hello Karun - using the default EA 06 template I get the following MTF rows undependently from TF:

MTF Trix: 1st row is M 15 fast (or is it the fourth - as I see a "4" at the end of the row ?), second row is M 30 fast, 3d is M5 slow and then M 15 slow. Ichimoko: first row M 15 (or again - second ? number "2" in the right corner ?) second row is M 5.

Are these settinngs only right for TF 5 - what are the right recommended parameters for 1M ?

The eperiod settings are explained in the MTF indicator manual. It is part of the THV Manual trading system. You can customize those values for each chart. ePeriod# defines the TF, and Type defines slow(0) fast (1) trix. By default Ichimoku MTF looks by 2 immediate higer tf's. you can set autotimeframe to false to manual set the values.

That is if you want to load the indicator(it is the indicator setting) on the chart for you to visually see the indicators.

I would rather see open conversations here and your analysis of what parameter settings seem to be working for you and not "lets select the best people" ...

Maybe it didn't come through, these 5 traders will be elected to further fine tune this set as you need to know well to optimize. It's not that this set will be a kind of secret.

no problem. I did not mean that either. With all respect, I am trying to understand how we are doing this testing and as a software developer I see this as a little bit of chaos.

Anyway,
Cobra you seem to be getting impressed by EA. Thats a good sign. You were not a big fan of EAs when this effort started.

here's my first take on today - nor not.

valid entry at trix divergence (magenta line) but no MTF confirmation.
when the MTF dots (30S,30F,240F) agreed 3 candles later the trade should have been fired up because of PreviousBars=3 - but it didn't.

it's my guess that because of the MTF settings = 110 which calls for a closed candle the signal became valid at the 4th candle after the trix divergence. because of the PreviousBars setting which looks back only three candles the entry was 1 candle late and therefore invalid.

does my thinking make any sense or am I in the woods here?

your OS/OB settings are not activated yet. the levels seem a bit small to me. here's my suggestion:

TrixOverboughtOversold=1
TrixOverboughtLevel=0.0007
TrixOversoldLevel=-0.0007


also you should turn partial close off and set it up to close the whole order once the exit signal comes.

PartialClose1=100
PartialClose2=0
