again no entry even though things are all lined up. i cant see anything wrong in my settings. its like it isnt registering the indicators properly.

Can you post the set file and screen shot, lets see if we can find something

Hello,

i follow both treads from the beginning an i must say this is realy nice!
THX Cobra and team!!

Now i try to demo use the ea in 15 m timeframe. I use the .set that cobra uses for the 5 mins with some changes.

Here is a screenshot and the set file i am using for 15 m chart.
Pls let me know, why the ea does not enter at the last 2 bars.

Ok, i see it.
If i look at other pairs, the news where shown on the screen for that time (E/U), only E/CH and E/J dont show them.

More than happy to test EA on 60m chart G/U but may need help to set up

Please can help on this one. My FFCalis not working itis saying unable to open website. What is wrong? Am using a proxy server for internet, could this be the problem? Please if it has been answer kindly refer me to the post.

I think i have the same problem, cause my EA shows always "disabled as we are inside news period".

Here is the same chart as in Post 263. Next news in 7 hours, last news more than 1,5 hours over.

As I explained in an earlier post, the EA takes the trade when the parameters are filled at that time.

The slow trix was in the same color in that moment but it repaints the actual candle.

If you code the EA to take the trade on close of the candle and with that having the slow trix shown in the same color in the trix history, it might be to late for an entry.

Take these trades just like a losing trade, same as in manual trading, it's part of the biz.

Check in the experts tab of the terminal and see if there is any errors reported. Also double check if you have added the THV FFCal to the chart

Hi Karun

I am trying to setup basic THV setting - so I can take trade when

1) fast and slow trix cross AND (fastslow trixcross)
2) fast and slow trix have same color (fast/slow trixsamedirection)

OR

3) Fast trix crosses zero line (fasttrix zeroline)

If I check all 3 parms, it would look for all 3 conditions to be met to trigger a trade, right? Is there a way to 'or' these conditions? Otherwise it would need 2 charts so one chart takes trades for fast/slow cross and another chart takes trades for fast trix cross of zero line.

you are right.
An error is shown in the experts tab, FFCal was added.

How can i solve this problem?

Allow DLL imports was not enabled, i think, that was the problem.

- Since current EA allows only one sets of MTF trix histo, it fails to filter bad trades. Is there a way to incorporate 6-mtf light rules in this EA?

- When trix histo changes color in higher TF(15m or 60m), it usually generates winning trades in 5m TF. Is there way to incorporate change of trix histo color as possible trigger for trade?

If you remember, the 6 light rule was tested only for E/U on 1M by MissPips, the idea of having MTF here is to take trades based on the trend of the higher tf.
