can someone please explain the meaning of different coloured bars on the volume emphasized indi or direct me to where i can read up about it. thanks

Hey GoldSurfer,

My crystal ball is telling me to take a long break ....... just kidding. Never had a crystal ball. As for the Andrew's Line (AL). They are the same ones still in effect. Now it is just a waiting game. Just got to be cautious with longs now that PA is dancing at the orange warning line unless if there is a decisive break.

Great points. I will say...that if anything I trade too much rather than let a bunch get away. This one in particular I was weary of because of the big round number and in the same breath one could argue that if it did penetrate it could take out a bunch of stops and rocket up (which it did). Hence the only logical conclusion (as you said) is to take the trade on the signal and be ok with the result whichever way it turned out. The fact that you have such a track record speaks volumes and your words are not lost on me. Thanks for the feedback!

Miss Pips: great point too about pull back entry regarding the Trix...point noted. I know that in times of extreme volatility, I need to stay out and watch and wait and see...not jump into the mosh pit. In about a 10 minute period the G/U shot up 80 pips out of nowhere and I jumped in the pool and got bit.... my quest is not to just know what to do, but to do what I know.

EU: As this hour comes to close, the volume is quite high and PA shows a nice "pinbar". This could bode well for a break down out of the range....

I had internet problems yesterday so that I couldn't answer.

The screenshot shows a mix of thv system and some components of the FX 50 method. I don't want to bring new indicators into play but who is interessted in the ribbons and the fx prime indicator can read a bit through the thread. RontheDon: I really like the ribbons but sometimes if you use pivots, ribbons trendlines, psychlevels etc. there is too much resistance on your chart.

Why don't you just stick a knife in the back of Cobra and his team ??? Same results...........

Hi Miss Pips, I've been watching this thread for quite some time and I applaud the efforts of all you guys, this is a great trading strategy! I was wandering if you were also working on a way for this strategy to give a signal of all conditions being met, to prompt the trader to take a look to see if the conditions are tradeable? This would also save the trader watching the screen for the next set up...........just an idea from observing.

I don't understand you. This indicator is publicly available and why should it be done by Cobra. I'm not a coder and i can't know whether this is decompiled or not, but i just read Damiani to be the creator. If you think this is a decompiled version, then you should attack the one who posted it at tsd-forex. Additionally, i suppose Cobra has no commercial interests here. So why not posting the code ? I supposed the forum is to help eachother and not attacking.

Did you read mladen's post about this indicator in that thread?

He asserts that this is a decompiled indicator and should NOT have been posted.

I don't want to get way off-topic here, but continuing to post something that should not have been posted in the first place is just as wrong as the first offense. It's a continuation of the wrong; and I called you out for doing THAT!

This same issue has just been raised at the FXAW Forum. It's sad that some people do not respect the ownership and privacy of others.

As a programmer in several languages (including EA's) if the author wishes to make their code public they will. However, I think it is not just someone copying the code and calling it their code that may be the biggest perceived problem it is more. Lets say someone de-compiles a EA and replaces their name for that of the author (But forgets to replace all of the authors name in other parts of the code) and makes a few changes to the code and sets it out into the world. Those few changes suddenly make people lose real money (Lots of it) and someone goes looking for a person to take the fall, what names will they find? Both, making the original programmer responsible in their mind as well. Even if the original code worked as planned the changes would be the authors responsibility because their name is on it. Then it gets ugly. I have made code public and I have code that will never see the light of day except on my notebook just for this very reason.

Another example could be that someone de-compiles a EA and added malicious code into the EA so it will do harm to computers or servers but leaves the authors name in it so they will get the blame.

Have you read the entire post? Give your valuable time to learn how to trade rather than busy collecting some mq4 files. I'm sure your goal here is to be a profitable trader rather than an indis collector. It is the author's right either to publish the file or not. Why bother then? Except you don't want to be a trader but be an indis collector.
Manage your risk accordingly and you're half done your home work.

Again, I'm not a coder and i can't judge whether decompiled or not. I haven't seen mladen's remark and even then, for not coders is not possible to verify whether original or decompiled. If something was wrong with that, then tsd- administrators would have reacted to it. Maybe, next time you should refer to the tsd administrators and not me.

That is a fair statement. But now we have told you that the copy is not legal so you should cease your pursuit of it. Remember, just because a copyrighted material is public does not mean the author loses their copyrights. Besides, why do you even need the decompiled indicator?

Those administrators don't necessarily know nor have the time to determine if something is illegal or being hacked on their thread. Once they find out, they should remove it, if they have any honor.

Keep in mind also that you risk being banned by promoting illegal copies of the code. I propose you edit your post to remove the reference to the illegal file to show you have no improper intentions.
