Here is my 5M E/U set, it trades very conservative and takes 3 to 5 trades a day, sometimes none.

You can fine tune trading sessions and news, also don't take a trade xpips closed to a S&R would be usefull.

To get it more agressive you can widen the ob/os trix settings in the parameters.

The datafeed can vary between borkers, I also have two different borkers with the same settings running and the results are slightly different but it runs fine on 5 digit.

I would like to confirm one small thing ... Cobra does the set up of indicators on the default EA visual template is set to M1 charts ?

Good question Vitaliy

You refere to the MTF settings, they are for 1M sets.

When you work on other TF's and with that other MTF settings you should change them (same as chosed parameters) to be able to visually control and optimize the EA trades.

Thanks, now that explains a lot =) I will try play around with M15 timefraims,

P.S. I test this EA in Windows 7 and it seems to me that it doesn't use as much CPU as with Vista\XP. I have it running in 4 windows and CPU load is about 5-10 %

used only THV trix to combine with my system but always stay in cobra's thread to learn more

ops... I forget... want to ask to Cobra :
I use TVH trix on H1 for best signal when it cross and looking open position in 5M, would you make that trix's multitimeframe ? example : I need trix H1 on 5M TF so I not need open 2 windows in same pair (5M and H1) to know trix in H1 TF.

Thanks to the developers. I just started to demo on the 5m timeframe, 12 pairs. Two wins in less than two hrs.

Hi Guys, Been running the EA but it only seems to take trades on patterns. Loaded the set posted by Cobra and still the same thing. Any ideas ?????

I was critical of Twee in an earlier post (since deleted it seems) but I would like to apologize now and encourage Cobra in his development of this thread in his quest to find .set's that make this EA profitable.

My demo of the EA took several 5M trades late Friday but no trades so far this week. I am running Cobra's 5M set file on Varengold Broker (germany... straight thru trading, 100:1 and variable spreads).

This relates to theTHV MTF Histo settings.Each row in MTF Histo corresponds to the related MTFTrixDot#.

Basically testing it on EJ 5min chart..seems something simple is not getting in my mind.

Did you read the manual?

From Pg2 of the manual...

MTFTrixDot#: #1 means the top dot.
MTFIchimokuDot#: #1 means the top dot.

In your case MTFTrixDot1 = M5F, MTFTrixDot2 = M15F.... MTFIchimokuDot1 = M5, MTFIchimokuDot2 = M15

The Dots of the MTF indicators can take the following values: 0 means it is not used for entry and exit, 1 means it is used for entry only, 2 means it is used for exit only, 3 means it is used for entry and exit.

looking on with great interest......downloaded EA today, have loaded on to IBFX & Alpari UK but they are different

at 13.05 london time
IBFX is showing London session (8 hours left)
Alpari is showing London session (6 hours left)...tried changing GMT settings no different

current trade
IBFX 5 pips (size 0.10) profit 5.00
Alpari -7 pips (size 0.10) loss -0.70

Can you help please

with little experience (on my part) the system looks great, I want to thank all involved and wish you good fortune
