Hi Ed,
The trix does repaint one bar back after that bar has closed on occasion (This happens when it is flat, and you should be exercising caution anyway in that case.). I have posted screenshots of this happening in Cobra's development forum. I can confirm that I have only seen it doing this one bar back, and I watched it quite a bit while developing the MTF indies. I watched the 1, 5 and 15. It should work the same on all tfs.

change ShowTape to true in TRIX settings ( all credits to Mladen ) and maybe you have to remove and replace the Newsreader ( all credits to In10tion for this one ) as it could crash your plateform on some brokers ...

When I open a position I usually have a size with an emergency stop at 25 or 30p's on everything. Keep in mind that this stop is for emergency only...unexpected news flash, power failure, yada, yada...my finger is always on the exit button.
Then I manage my stops and exits...depending on how the market is moving, by only trading one pair you get a better feel for this.
If PA is moving quickly I will go for 20 or 25p's for first off, normaly 25% of the size. At this point my SL is at BE or BE+. Next off at another 20 to 25p's and on up till I'm 100% off. Depends on S/R levels and how the market reacts to these levels as to where my TP is. If the higher time frames show a reason for a large move the last group will get a trailing stop to let the market close me out.
If PA is struggling to move I'll take a 8 or 10p exit on 'most' of the postion and move the SL close to BE but hardly ever to BE+, mostly BE-, taking into consideration the profit on the first off so if my SL is hit I still make a few.
Hope this helps a bit rather than confuse.

Same here with the finger part, Scrutch. Don't even want to wait for my Stop Loss when I see and feel the 'counter parties' are charging down on my throat.

reduce the max bars in chart in the mt4 charts options and uncheck save deleted charts?
