just a quick question. from past experience whats the best time frame to trade this setup and the ea? thanks ohh one more thing. it only gives a 2 pip tp. wil the sl is alot more?

Wow. You guys always have something new about THV. What a team. Never been on EA before but I promise to dig deeper during my weekend before try it. Maybe someday I will wake up and have a money tree on my PC . Just kidding.
Manage your risk accordingly and you're half done your home work.

Thanks T7 and all others for the congrats.

Please note that the EA is based on THV trading and it will be very helpful for any user to know the basics of the system, otherwise you will have no clue how to optimize it.

Start with cross of the cloud and you will see wrong entries, filter those with the user defined parameters in the setup, depending on the TF you are working with.

I got that part, but the money management, yikes! Maybe you can post some sets.

The default settings are not profitable, try to do what I mentioned in my last post, it's fun and you will know the EA better with the time.

In earlier versions like the V3 I had best results on M30 but with the latest coded options it can even make a 1M a good setup I guess.

Maybe tomorrow at this time some testdrives with this new V0.5 version are finished and I post them as examples.

But there are hundreds of possible sets to trade this EA.

The only error i seem to be getting in Experts Message is "2009.05.12 21:38:39 THV3 FFCal: cannot delete file Crogram FilesMetaTrader 4 at FOREX.comexpertsfiles5-13-2009-USDCADFXF15-FFCal.xml"

Well every lil bit helps, that would be good. An example of Classic and H/L would be cool, be looking for it!

Classic means a fixed SL.

H/L you can set to 3 for example. That would mean in case of a long trade that the low of the last 3 candles will be your SL (Btw: Jay Walker is trading that but manually on the D1 TF).

Well, I'm going to prepare me for the London session.

Have fun trying it out.

Don't worry about that, it comes from the news indicator when you play with the EA on the simulator.

That was the last post from my side here till the end of the London session.

Hopefully I see the thread at that time back to the system category.

I can't seem to get the EA to take a trade. I'm not much on EA's but it appears to be properly loaded and ready. I set it to take a trade on "FastTrixSameDirection" and "MTFTrixDot1" (with TF parameters set), just to see it work. Everything else on entry rules is set to false. Likely I missed something obvious.

Ea is going great, 5 trades on E/U 3 profits, 1 still in profit and a 10 buck loss. Not bad..... As with other EA's will you only have it trade at certain times or is it a 24 hour sort of thing???

Also tried it on the A/U but had a win and a few small losses, I guess the 5 pip spread might affect it????

Today it was a winning trade, but EA closed it with small loss. Why? May be it will be helpful to add some debugging information: why the trade was closed?

So far, this is the test result for this EA.
the minus pips in the picture was actually profit. But I just keep it closed by itself, If I wanted to, I can close it all for 10 pips profit and this EA will surely do that. It was floating profit until 15-20 pips before going to minus, . After all, this is a scalping method.

Tested on FXOPEN Broker, GMT +3

ok for exit signal, 've set exit on fast trix change and important levels, resitance etc are touched, but i've set 50% i would like to set 100% on fast trix change colour, and 50%at important levels...
what do you think about this?
