A picture says a thousand words. Post those trades that failed and indicate on the chart where you entered those trades. The veterans here will be more than willing to analyze your charts and advise you.
Pivots are support and resistance lines. You need to be aware that price hesitates before any move around them. Fibo is a great tool for your higher TF analysis to know where price is going next. You will also need to draw trend lines and S/R levels. The minimum analysis you need to do on the higher TF is to have a trendline and S/R levels to have a feel of where price will go or react next.

Any help or advise would be appreciated, as I have witnessed others recieve timely advise. I am trying to get this as simple as possible, I notice that some of you guys use other indicators like pivot and fibs. Can I be successful with out those indi's ?

Hello there and thanks to the THV Team, I have been following this thread for some time now and this is by far the best thing going, But unfortunately my success rate is about 50-50. The currency pairs I trade are eur/usd usd/jpy eur/jpy gbp/usd and chf/jpy all on the 5 min chart, I'm trying to get at lease 50 pips a day

I have been trying THV from some days now, gone profitable as of today with this tool, aboot 60 pips. Most trades on EJ, a few with Aussie Dollar
Try to concentrate you on only one pair and learn the charater of it, it doesn't matter where the pips are coming from.
Its all in the mind.

BeachBum, SpeacilEd plus all of us who are trading/experimenting on higherTF (15min+)..i'd like to share a few observations:
I noticed that sudden change on trend/breakout is best indicated(so far) by 4hrFast histo(experimenting on 15min TF). Still working out on using the best way to use histos for entry/exits?
Unfortunately I can produce 5min chart as I by mistake reset the trix histo on 15 min thus can't show it properly.
I am mainly testing on 15 min with a derivative of a strategy by BB and SpecialEd. Manage it on 5 min. Work in progress..I'd like to know how others are using histo's for possible entry/exits?
