Should one insert EA to both GBPJPY and EURJPY charts?

Please clarify time. In your document. you said use on 4h or D1 only but in the parameter it says 1 hour.

Also I am not clear on the TP.

You say in the PDF that you know you are basically trading EUR/GBP, yet it seems that you are effectively hedged, aren't you? In other words, you have a long position and a short position. This is not like the EUR/USD and USD/CHF hedge where people would go long on both.

Isn't this a true hedge that you are doing?

Yes, as long as the correlation remains > 0.9 on the timeframe. However, some people still belive one is just trading the EURGBP.

Please click on "quote" when you are answering so that we will know what question you are answering. I assume you are answering mine about this being an actual hedge. If so, the "some people" who believe we are still just trading the EUR/GBP, which direction would they say we are trading it? Since we are both long EUR/GBP and short EUR/GBP which direction are we trading it?

Thats a good question, they never tell me the answer when i ask, they just say it will fail at some point.

Check out the way I do the hedge here, and let me know if they would say this is simply trading one currency, and if so, which direction.

I tried EA on Meta Trader 4 Set everything to True and changed trading hours to 0 (Start) & 24 (End). But on the top right of chart is says "The EA is set not to trade".

Please advise what I need to do?

I've been testing it but constantly receive "Invalid Lot amount" error and have never seen any EJ trade, only GJ.

I'm testing it in a $500 usd demo account with several other EAs.

I'm not monitoring it closely so I've seen it with large drawdowns but eventually closes on profit. Currently is +$30 usd since Apr23rd (9 Trades - 8 W / 1 L ). It could be more if "Invalid Lot" trades would open and it could be less if I used my "discretion" and closed trades when in panic because of drawdown - you know what I mean.

I installed this EA into my expert advisor folder. When open the platform,the icon is in gray colour. Base on the help file in metatrader, this mean the EA got the compilation error.Can someone here advise what went wrong?Or something i miss out?

Just read from another forum regarding the EA icon gray colour issue, this is due to the EA only have the .ex4 file, not attach together with the MQ4 file to compile from.
Now the question is, does this EA will open trade itself, or we have to manually open ourselves?I on the EA whole night but didnt see any open trade, why?can anyone advice?

Hi

What is wrong? I enabled this strategy on GBP/JPY chart with 1 hour timeframe and had message.

"The EA is set not to trade".

My settings are in tune file from page one (attached by tokyomaster)
