About the intellectual property I disagree on that since I don't know if the method was purely coming from his brain or simply copy paste it from somewhere else. The fact that he did not want to share it, yeah it's his business. I think if he's only wants to show off how profitable his EA really is, he'd better put it in trading journals thread or other appropriate thread or even sell it instead of putting it here in programming discussion. In here we discuss how things come into play.

i never put it into the programming thread. It was originally in the trading systems thread and for some reason the moderator moved it to the programming thread.

get your facts straight before posting shit comments.

U done an excellent job here & sharing your EA in itself is more then anyone could've ask for. Keep it up

Sidetrack a little: Yah there will always be critics...who cares, when I was following Trade101 post on the basket trading, it came to a point of where personality & moral conflict issues came to spark till the end the author of the trade end his discussion (due to too much off topic discussion which is not true to the rules of the system) & the threads was eventually RIP.

I have come to the point where I am thankful for all those talented people who have come here to share whatever you have irregardless of the who you are albeit critics or not.

Keep up the good work .

the answer is simple: if you do not know the function of a car, why would you buy it?

it is a simple fact finding discovery (one of the best human nature). if you did not want to disclose your secret, why do you have to upset when people ask it? why don't you simply ignore it? it's common when you create something people would ask a thousand things about what you've just created.

well let's see how it plays out, it's only monday. my DD at 8:30 EST US was -$600. now (11:00 AM EST) it's floating around -$300

it's not a scalping system, dude.

note Sunday night EST I manually closed a profitable hedge after eur made an initial higher move, made $143.68.

my suggestion is to manually close profitable positions when eur/usd or usd/chf is near over extended fib areas. see attached indicator it draws them for you

yeah i know. I said before this EA just buy and hold until you have profit. What I'm trying to say is the profit generally follow the movement of EURUSD. If EURUSD tank all the way down , you aren't gonna see positive profit.

Since it also buys USDCHF, which is negatively correlated, if you are on the correct side of this correlation, it can be profitable.

It doesnt just buy eurusd and hold. if you look at pending orders there are also sell orders.

I have get very good results on demo. I have put it on live account on fxdd. They allow hedging. I think it will work. Because it also place sell orders

Just makesure you manually close out if your profits are > than your desired profit. Dont get greedy. Good luck.

yeah, I'm working on timing the entry. I mention that the EA is incomplete. Some of the things are missing. Entry is one of them.

I have posted some question but tokyomaster don't wish to answer, if not I can further improve the system and maybe make it more profitable. Some of the things right now I can only guess.

Hi there Guys

Just to let you know i have been trialing the hedge system for 2 weeks. It was goin ok last week. Today i had many losses with the hedge system opening and closing orders at losses frequently??

Not sure what is goin on at this stage. I have stopped it from trading cause there may be an error with the EA.

Has anyone else encountered the same issue cheers>>

If it was that easy then banks currency traders would always make huge profits. The EURUSD, USDCHF and/or EURCHF hedge is a mis-conception in forex trading.

Do you think this issue can be resolved mate or shall I just stay with the most profitable broker which doesn't requote?
