Thanks Cobra, seems to work ok now, I was just getting a blank page with no square etc yesterday.

On the EUR/JPY, if you took a trade every time the fast TRIX changed color on the H1, you would have winning results. The STO and the EMAs would be unnecessary; just trade the fast TRIX.

Thanks for your comments. I did a gut check on why I felt I needed the MA cross and Stoch indis and as I became more honest with myself about the rules I posted, I find that I am still looking for to many confirmations that PA is turning. That Fear of getting stuck in a bad trade is subtle. Thanks for poking my blind spot with a stick. Still need some growth in this area.

Sorry for my english, it isn't my mother tongue.

First of all I want to thank Cobra and the whole THV Team for developing such a great system and even offer it for free.

I'm a newbie, got interested in Forex about 6 month ago and for 3 months now I trade with the THV system. I crashed several demo accounts and my first regular account went down 50%, but for two or three weeks I'm getting profitabel. I had to learn a lot, and this thread and the kind people here helped me so much.
What I want to say is that there's a lot of work to do for beginners. I read the whole thread, several books, traded every day, put in a lot of time, but it was worth it and more importantly so much fun. I hope I don't say this too early and the last weeks just were lucky ones and next week I'll loose all my money. ;-)

But anyway, thanks to all of you.
I hope, I can also help or contribute to the thread in anyway.

The order of the histo's are user preference:
I have my charts setup:
Four fast histo's in the upper window
Four slow histo's in the window below

This works for my gray matter and allows me to concentrate and focus on the PA. The histo's start with the lowest time frame on top and progress downward to the largest time frame. First window all red/green I know that all the fast trix time frames are in agreement or perhpas just the top three are the same color...tells me that at least three time frames are in agreement about direction. Course at that point usually one or two of the slow histo's are the same color as well. Just less thought involved on my part while watching the PA...if PA looks right, I glance down at the histo's, and a decission can quickly be made to open (or not) a position.
Back to the user prefernce...this works for me, perhaps you may want to set it up differently...make it your own style.

Welcome back!

I myself may have appeared to have been away (not posted much here) but I have been lurking. I am working on longer TF trades, so I have paid close attention to SpecialEd's and BeachBum's posts. When I have been satisfied with proving my own method to myself, I will post something on it here.

Good job everyone in keeping this thread going strong.

Cashmere... I’ve seen the answer... but... the FFCALL with “Allow DLL Imports” is not importing anything to my FxPro chart...

Is there any way to get in touch with the developer of FFCALL to resolve this problem...?

As to me, I invested the last 2.5 yrs in learning/creating/testing 24/7... very exhausting process... have a system, but what you have is much cleaner and simpler to work with... as you say, the less you need to look at and pay attention to, the better...

I've been using a trading simulator I got off FF(called FML) to run trading strategies on THV (good video game!) but it only works on the trix indy---mtf cloud histo doesnt change. I was wondering if anyone had a simulator that does work on the full THV system including mtf indy?
Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. I went through the 53 pages of attachments and nothing there.

hi miss pips! what do you think about trading 5 minutes with tmf? i trade with normal roules of thhv, i vould add tmf to 5', wich configuration you advice me?

I have tried several simulators with THV Histo indicators and not found one that works; and I doubt if you will find one that does. It must have something to do with the Histo aspect of the indicator. I know absolutely nothing about coding MT indicators; most likely The Pip Princess can better answer as to why these indicators behave as they do. HTH!

Hello Cobraforex...I like your charts. I have downloaded all your files; there were 18 indicators, 2 tmpl, and ?? wav files, but cannot get my charts to look like yours. My template doesn't look like yours?? got error msg that THVFFCAL webpage download not complete, empty string parameters for file write string function??Also could not get cloud presentation on chart...I did have 4 indicator windows on tne chart???can you help me???
