Only the movement of EURUSD is importance. Take at look yourself. If EURUSD is in negative , ur profit is negative.

I got the error "error closing limit order", see attached. do you know what caused this?

Also, I have had an open position for a number of hours now, it has been in profit for several as well, not sure if it was meant to be closed or not.

what is the typical time length for the trades?

I'm wondering why lot size for EUR is bigger, given that it moves more. most systems like this I've seen of course buy more usd/chf than sell eur/usd because of the volatility differences

This system actually buy and hold eurusd until it make profit.

The logic behind the different lot sizes is that USDCHF will go bearish big time at some point and EURUSD will not be able to keep up.

This EA will hedge same currency depending on market conditions so you need a non USA broker due to NFA regulations coming out.

From earlier message posted , u mention that u close with a loss because of Friday end day and not wanting to roll over to weekend. I was thinking maybe one of the rule for the EA is to stop trade when Thursday US session and let the profit protection close all the trade with profit before weekend.

Its not solely dependent on bullish/bearish EURUSD, it relies on the fact that EURUSD and USDCHF very often become decorrelated. This allows us to overcome the double spread we are paying instead of just trading EURCHF.

As you pointed out the USDCHF has less lot size yet it was far more in profit than EURUSD, its because USDCHF will go bearish/bullish at a much higer rate than the volatility of EURUSD.

With the decorrelation in mind , the EA should have some sort of profit protect when the decorrelation happen. I think if the EA dont protect the profit when decorrelation happen, the profit will be gone once it goes back to correlated status. Maybe that explain why my profit goes from +$100 to negative $-10 to +$140 again. If we could lock the $100 and lock the $140, this EA would be perfect.

Yes, i expect to have all the changes/modifications completed well before Sundays opening time so everyone can forward test next week. In the meantime i manually close out profits using the script i provided.

So, we shouldnt be too far away from a nice fully auto EA.

maybe I will have more ideas when I start testing the improve EA. Hope you don't mind modifying the EA. Thanks for your good work

Both have banked a bit to go in to profit but they missed most of the open profit which has now gone. Up to $600 on each at one point.
