my name is dima and im pretty new to FOREX. I have been following ur thread for quite a while already only never really had the chanceto post herre.
just wanted to say that your thread did help me to progress a lot in my trading and have more succesfull trades so i really wanted to thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Here is the 4 hr chart I am looking at for these sudden entrys.

This was a retest of highs on top trend line. I am expecting it to hold in the trend linse and target the bottom.

it looks like it hit the long-term fib at 1.2525 (high Mar 95, low Oct 00) and bounced right back down - not to mention the daily pivot R1 that is around that area too. it'll be interesting to see how quickly and with what strength it manages to come back with. This may form a short term bearish pin otherwise.

Well 2nd most popular pair(usd/jpy) is in a confirmed up trend with the break of 116.00 so I would say the usd is gonna at least retest highs after this retrace.

interesting. that fake breakout on the jpy seems to form a nice bearish pin on the 4h and probably on the daily as well, as such confirming the medium / long-term bullish trend for the euro that i was talking about earlier (Elliott Waves)

just woke up to find trailing stop got hit for -8 pips.

Price on eur is still hugging the top trend line. and sud/jpy has broken through the bottom line.
Mabe we're looking at a new trend pattern.

15 pip trailing s/l


I had way too good of a success rate for 3-4 weeks it was time I get some wrong.

The 15 pip trailing s/l seems to be doing good at limmiting losses I am going to keep using it.

yea same thing I pointed out 2 days ago when I went short usd/jpy and got flamed for it.

100 day MA come in at 1.2153 so long on a break of that is probly a better enrty.
I already made my entry.

yep. that's also round about where some short term and long term MA's are going to start crossing giving another sign of that bullish trend we were talking about - if the eur gets there, that is

s/l was trailed to break even so I just secure profits here. I want to see a daily close above 100 day MA @ 1.2152 befor I continue long position.

stopped out - 20pips

reversed
and pulled at 1.2170 + 13 pips

Tough week for me.

EUR looking supported for now. I am sitting it out till next mon. Now want to see where the week closes at.( above 100 day ma or below)

better trades next week.
