FxFei, name me a broker who is the most truthful, has never done any misleading advertising, doesn't run stops, never widens spreads, never requotes, doesn't have slippage, encourages news trading, welcomes scalping, guarantees the security of my funds and I will immediately open an account with them.
The only reason people keep raising this issue is just for the sake of broker bashing. If IBFX is found to have done some misleading advertising, then it's up to the NFA to impose penalties. All that advertising hasn't caused me or any of their clients any loss. Those who have lost money have done so through their own poor trading. Could be time to give all this a rest.

agreed...you're 100% dead on. most people gripe because they're poor traders and don't understand how the market really works. first theing they should do is learn the "rules" of the game and then trade accordingly.

I'm gonna have to agree too.
Although there are good brokers, better brokers, and worse brokers, I don't think if a person really knows what they're doing and is a good trader will be a loser just because of the broker. (unless the broker is a clear scammer)
IMO, there's a little too much broker bashing going on these days. Sure a lot of brokers have their querks, but if you're meant to be successful I think you will be regardless of this. As a client of IBFX I can't say I've had any major issues with them. I don't trade the news so the big spreads don't bother me.
A trading system recommends using IBFX (mainly for the better swap rates). I was thinking of moving my carry hedge system here.
So what is the issues?
Is IBFX safe? Unsafe? I do like the way we can trade microlots here.. makes hedging ratio a lot more accurate.

Hey BK,
Here are my experiences with them. They will grasp every chance they have to get your money. Don't trust a word they say on their website. As we all know, they have a dealing desk while they say they don't. Another thing, don't trust what they say about margin call. They say required margin is 50%, but they will let you go into negative and just say it can happen. Spread changes from 2 pips (eurusd) to 10-15 pips is very normal during newstime. Not getting your swap happens dozen times a year. Servers freezes often, but they are working on it.
Except for a these things, they are just fine. No broker is perfect. We don't have any choice. It is choosing between bad or worse.
Good thing about them is, their spread is good. By that I mean the difference between paying and receiving spread is smaller than most brokers.
