Hi all,

I am currently thinking about posting trades on a weblogger site.
What do you think of this?

Yes, but in this thread I cannot post tables of trades. It should take a lots of work to do it.
In a blogger site I should be able to write Javascript code in a fixed template post to read trades in XML format and convert them to HTML tables in that post. Then I should only need to update XML files or CSV files from Excel when placing trades.

I think it is a great idea Jeff. Any threads here reguarding performance of the system seem to get hijacked with the pro's/con's of the system rather than looking at it for what it is.

if anyone is interested in keeping a trade log, but is fearful of it getting hijacked, let me know and i will setup a thread that only you can post in. it may be lonely though

Well, here I am back since a long time...

Since june I am currently writing ASP.NET codes for a template table to publish forex trades in a comfortable way. The template table can then be placed in a blogger site, or a forex community thread like this,... Before giving more info about this, I don't want to violate FF's rules. Since my posts is still currently under 50, I continue this issue under Classified Ads.

I don't think you are violating the FF rules since you don't intend to recommend a certain service or anything like that. I think that it would be ok if you are just posting your trading blogs.

I think Merlin can better explain this than me, but the posting rules of FF are not that complex, they are the most simple rules I have ever seen for a forum compared to any other forum over the internet.

Merlin, please help clarify this point please.

i would agree that there is no violation of the rules. rule #2 is more for spammers looking to profit from their posts here, or trying to gain traffic to their website, without giving anything back to the forum. fxtrader625 doesnt fall into that catagory.

btw narafa, sometimes there are judgement calls we have to make on grey area issues. i trust all of you mods to make those calls.
