must been hard work i guess.? not far ago you would maby only take 1-3 trades a day...but now you have trades open all over..
how did you get rid of the problem ..and is it only in trading or did it also affect everything else in the daily life.....
and BTW risflex its actually kind of useless to try getting any real answers from him..when you ask an question..5-7 other from his crew spam the question...everything not prasing..is spamed down .

I've visited mparker's thread. There does not seem to be much.
It's a popular thread for sure, but I don't get what's the big deal.
He has a complicated chart which he says he scalps from.

There is no best strategy to grow an account quickly. If there was, everyone would be doing it and everyone would be rich.

this is a re post of my original --- it only answers the question asked by the OP because there ARE very definite trading "timeframes" that produce the fastest and safest returns.
Scalping is probably the fastest, as you are in every trade possible, whatever direction, and so provides the MOST bang for the buck.
the SECOND most profitable is using the 15 minute and staying with the trend because each 15 minute chart covers a complete "cycle" of up and down in what is usually the hour and a half time frame that the price requires.
THIS IS SIMPLY THE WAY IT IS, which ANYONE can see on a chart, where you measure TIME vs PIP GAIN --- you simply have to LOOK, and you have the answer.
in the meantime, any references to MY charts and style is silly, isnt it, because nowhere do i say to do it MY WAY !
look at your charts --- measure the time vs how many pips during that time period, and you will have your answer

while everyone knows my feelings, teachings and what the newbs are producing in only a few weeks over on my thread, I believe the way to grow an account quickly is NOT the H4, with its multiple downturns that first put you in a winning position, then take it all away scaring the living bejesus out of you and then moving back up again shortly before (and sometimes after) youve had a heart attack.
the 15 minute is the one to play, as it encompasses EACH upturn and each reversal during the 24 hour day --- In this manner you are working each TREND AND DIRECTION CHANGE of the price and making your equity work FOR YOU the hardest.
NOW --- i do not disagree with those who stand by the H4, but only point out the realities of its dips and rises because you ask the question about QUICKLY, and only very good scalping on the one minute could beat the 15, and it takes a bit of time to become VERY GOOD at scalping and FAR LESS TIME to trade the 15 minute chart !
of course, the one secret ingredient behind all this is MONEY --- in this case MORE is MUCH BETTER -- given the experience and knowledge to trade well, the more equity you start with, the faster it builds !
far easier to take $50K and make it $100K in a few weeks than to take $5K and make it 10K in the same time period.
and when all is said and done, and you PROVE your trading abilities, what is to stop you from going PRO, opening your own fund and letting others money push your net worth upwards ?
all trading gives us the ability to do these things, and forex (at least now) with its leverage and small equity requirements (compared to equities, shall we say) is one of the easiest and fastest routes to success !

The only thing the 'newbs' appear to be producing over on your thread, are an endless round of rather confused questions based around all that pointless & unnecessary crap strung all over their technical charts.
190 pages & 2837 posts down the road, & the vast majority of those poor saps across there are still running around as clueless as they were when they first looked in. lol
As for your constant jabbering about the thread views? I think you’ll find most of the numbers can be attributed to the "comical factor". Your thread is gaining quite a reputation for circus entertainment. I for one was prompted to take a peek if I fancied a good belly laugh, & I must admit I wasn’t disappointed.
I wouldn’t mind betting you’ll be another 190 pages down the road & your 'newbs' as you so tenderly describe them, will still be none the wiser about what they’re supposed to be doing.
Oh, & what's with all the shouting in your posts? If you feel the need to emphasize a word or sentance, why not simply highlight it/them? instead of shouting (capitals) all over the joint.

from the logistics end, we have attempted many times to set up a seperate "teaching" and "discussion" thread. The first time went swimmingly but after the barrage of flames, the moderator combined the two, creating a tangle.
we tried a few times more, but the threads always appeared to become unified again, which of course, containing both lessons and flames and discussion, becomes a bit of a problem
Now, you can understand that in the few months Ive been being flamed here, we rotate IN AND OUT the older newbs heading on to trade and the new recruits who become confused with all the aforementioned flames and garbage, but we sit them down, rehash the materials, reprogram their minds and offer them cool aid --- works for us !
we do have a way around it which even the moderator cannot alter and we shall begin implementing it towards the end of this week, so we thank you for your observations which have certainly been appreciated and acted upon !
we also note with pleasure your desire to reach the comic side of our natures, and ive even been likened to the "howard stern effect" in which detractors actually spend MORE time reading than do his "fans"
much appreciated for adding to our views count, as that effects our relationship with the company that owns this site and our positions going forward !
and all his BS proof about the newbs making lots everyday.
and the only ones who fuck up his thread..with spam..

If you spent more time concentrating & focusing on that to which you supposedly claim you’re adept at, than trying to body swerve & outsmart the moderators/site management (whilst massaging your ego), you might, just might begin to deflect the contempt you appear to attract from the vast majority of neutrals.

I have no fight with the mods, but was simply hoping they would make the chore of teaching easier --- i can easily understand multiple threads and how letting everyone do that would spread confusion over the globe, so i simply have come up with another method.

what you call "ego" is simply an old man having some fun, while shedding himself of many years of accumulated knowledge that accumulates a substantial amount of pips daily -- secure in what i do and VERY willing to prove it, do not confuse a persons ABILITIES with bragging, ego or gifilte fish --- YOU do not like my presentation obviously, but while vociferous, the flamers are way in the minority.
aside from that, even with the way you and sister speak of and to me, i enjoy a respect of both of you, just that my skin is much thicker than yours appears to be, but nothing i can do to change that.
I WILL thank you for your honesty in admitting who you are --- that quality ranks pretty much at the top of my list of "wanted" human traits and i really appreciate youre doing so.
